From the first song, I loved this album and was humming along. It is much closer to their roots. More songs I find myself wanting to sing along too.
And it showcases thier voices more as well. Moment of Forgiveness was my instant favorite, but I like pretty much the whole album. And I have been kind of lukewarm on their other albums.

gollum- I OFTEN think of Semilemelay..I had it written on my pencil case for my last two years of highschool. It's there for always!
Orenda - Yup...our lead singer's mother basically said "You pay $4000 dollars so we can hire this famous producer, or goodbye." And I was SICK of how she was such a dictator, and how SHE was making band decisions over the people that were actually in the band. And so me, Tony (The drummer) and Helena (bassist and now...girlfriend *blush*) all left.
Now it's over a year later, and the two guys left (Ollie and Sebastian..brothers..their mom being the bad one) magically were able to get $25k together to pay the producer and a studio band, and got a REALLY decent 5 song demo. Ripped is on there and it sounded incredible. I felt..uhm..very bad. How they've just signed a contract with a publishing label called BMG or something of the like.
I still have the last two songs we ever recorded...I love them. I'm still sad about it sometimes, but the mom was just...I can't even describe how horrible she was. I based a lot of my self worth on that band. Oh well. On to other things.
I'm now in second year Radio and Television Arts at Ryerson Uni. It's incredible. While everyone else is learning boring math, i'm learning how to produce a television show, from directing all the way down to...well..everything. And I've taken up fencing. I'm all swordy the chick now!
If you want to start up a new lair, I say huzzah! I just don't want to piss anyone off...and I don't really feel like I have any right to and all..I'm like a newbie compared to you guys, now.
