Hey, I?m here and no manson did not steal me. Though if he did, I could have told him to stop doing those gay leg kicks, take off the f****n mouse ears and remind him that he did record an album back in 1994.

he has become a parody of what he once was. when there are people in jean shorts, muscle shirts, abercrombie & finch clothes, etc.. at the shows you know its all over. then they have the nerve to call me and mine freaks.
And if i hear one more person say that manson doing it's a small world is the creepiest thing they ever heard i'm going to sit them down in front of my tv and let them watch a few shows of when manson was manson. when he used to dedicate sweet dreams to the 12 year old boy that he stuck his fist in backstage before the show. when he used to break bottles on the stage and roll through the broken glass. when he used to cut himself open and have the crowd spit on him so that everyone would get spit on. (unless you were in the back) Ahhh memories. Then we would see how many cheerleaders and jocks would be there saying 'isn't that cute'.
OK I'm done.
BUT i did get to witness my first drive by shooting when i was down there so it wasn't a total loss.

nah, skold put on a cool show. nothing too flashy but still cool. manson is the show and he really doesn't like other people out-staging him. just picture what twiggy used to do and substitute skold in his place. can't really move much just walk in circles.
and thanks for the wake up call. it was pretty wicked. didn't know what it was until it was over. right in front (well on the side) of our hotel. can you beat the philly hospitality?

No, never really got into them, and from what people are saying, they ain't what they usedta be, anyway. Sounds like a lot of people were disappointed in the show last year.
hey kari, lets just say i'm not the biggest peppermint creeps fan on the board. cool that things seem to be taking off for them though. hope nothing but the best for them.
Maybe if Tigertailz support on a London show, then I'll go. I'm not going up to Nottingham to see them with Enuff Z'Nuff.
stacey, i loved hanoi rocks back in the day and i will be the first to tell you whats out there now is nothing like what it used to be. i saw mike solo and was dissapointed, but then again, most 80's bands or bands that do 80's music never seem to impress. knock knock knock hello, the 80's are over lets move on.
If it was something I was into at the time, I'd probably still go. Hanoi was one of those bands that kinda passed me by. Not a big fan of Enuff Z'Nuff or Quireboys either, so I'm not going just cos they're playing.
I've seen a lot of bands this year that I loved back in the day, and most of them still put on a great show. There are one or two exceptions that bring 'flogging a dead horse' to mind.
Kari I missed them last week too. But we're definitely going Monday or else!!!
And yes Bill you're right... the 80s are over. As well as the 90s. Someday everyone will notice.
WELL I USED TO LOVE THEM AS WELL BUT I HAD AN INCIDENT THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET. MAYBE FORGIVE SOEMDAY, BUT MY MIND WON'T LET IT GO AND EVERYTIME I HEAR THEM I CRINGE. IF IT WASNT FOR THAT I WOULD LOVE THEM. I DO WISH THEM THE BEST AS IT IS NOT ALL OF THEIR FAULT FOR WHAT OTHERS DO. same here kari, i know what you mean. there are certain bands that i will never like or support because of the actions of a person. a shame but that happens.
i saw enuff znuff here a club a few years ago. they played to about 10 people. they sounded awesome but donnie was the biggest dick i have every run across. he was a complete ass on stage.
he just totally put this girl down that was dancing in front of the stage the whole noght. i personally got a kick out of it but still, he was pretty brutal.

Another band that passed me by. I wasn't keen on the 'hippy peace' thang they had going. I know it wasn't all like that, but that was my first impression.

hey, i can glitter when i need to glitter. i have sliver plastic pants, silver eyeliner, a real cool pair of 4 inch platform boots that are glitter. i just prefer to dress in black, with a splash of red sometimes to brighten things up a little.
