good answer
the worst movies are the ones you cant remember...
there are a few I watched on an afternoon on the telly for about a quarter. They were so bad i was laughing the whole time at its badness.
Masters of the Universe.
(He-man, featuring Dolph Lundgren! Doesnt just that make you wanna laugh?)
That's probably the worst. I really cant think of any other names.
Hey there.
"Masters of the Universe.

I have it on dvd. Top film.
Despin out.
Everyone I know slags 'Ginger Snaps' but I love that film!
I have it on DVD too!

I think it's good to look back at all of those movies that so many people got involved in, got paid for (or PAID for, heh), filmed, edited, all of the things that we do, and wonder, "Who thought this would be worth ANY person's time and money?"
There are a lot of other things you could wonder about too, just naming one.
I'd make my worst five right now, but I'm a little tired from midterms so for now:
1. Battlefield Earth (kind of a cliche on "worst of" lists by now) My friend's older brother "watched it twice to be sure it was as bad as I thought it was."
Well, that's sort of interesting, time for a nap...
Mendon
In no particular order
- Godzilla (big budget id4 remake)
- Critical Mass (how dare you steal T2 footage!)
- Jaws 3D (look out! its fake!)
- AI (where the **** was the intelligence?)
- Tremors 3 (you ruined the trilogy)
m0ds
films that make any old tripe you might've made look good (no particular order):
1. Star Crystal (1986)
2. Liquid Sky (1982)
3. Blue (1993)
4. Mac and Me (1988)
5. Thomas and the Magic Railroad (2000)
take time out to watch those above and feel refreshed that you *can* make films. it's the only way I am able to take all this criticism of Dupe ;-)
I appear to be the only person on the planet who liked Jaws 3D. All I can say is that it was better than Jaws 2 and Jaws: The Revenge.
I actually had a dream once that I found Jaws 3D on DVD at Tescos for 4 quid. I didn't buy it because it was full screen.
(coughcoughGEEKcough)
This question depends SO much on the criteria one has to choose from... Is it the worst movie as in most Danielle Steele films? or worst as in got alot of hype, but we personaly dont like it? Or is it the worst film shown in cinema instead of straight to video? Obviously the replies would differ...
In no order
Film which should have been straight to video EVRYWHERE
- ****eons and Dragons
- Fierce Creatures
- Resident Evil
- (havent seen them, but most teen horror flicks im sure)
- Barb Wire
Film which got alot of hype, but I reckon they ****
- Resident Evil
- A Thin Red Line (want to see it again to see if I have matured
- Blade II
- *** (ok... it was entertaining... but not a very good film?)
- Planet of the Apes (new one)

The list will no doubt change within 5 minutes, but my bottom five that I can remember at the moment...

Scream 3
Friday the 13th
Billy Madison
Resident Evil

Hey there.
Bad topic.
Whats the point in just slagging of movies....
Despin out.
What's the point in slagging of topics?
In no particular order...
Godzilla (The American one)
Star Wars: Episode I
IT
Carrie
Y Tu Mama Tambien
whats the point bashing other people threads?
[edit] LOL.. instaposted

what is jaws 3d?
Jaws 3
(The one after Jaws 2, the one before Jaws 4 - or Jaws: The Revenge).
They made it in 3D originally and in widescreen I believe.
So instead of calling it Jaws 3, they called it Jaws 3D - Ho ho ho, how witty of them!
m0ds
lol.. ok
it would be cool if you could get a DVD with it in normal and 3d versions and it came with some glasses!
I actually went to see that at the cinema. But my cinema (back in the wilds of Wales) didn't have the facilities to show it in 3D so it was just in normal vision but with lots of what seemed like bizarre shots of things coming into the foreground (didn't know at the time it was supposed to be in 3D). Anyway enough about that film - it's lame in 3D or 2D.

I usually like bad films that a so bad they're good, i.e Karate Kid. But Psycho the Remake just took the **** , that film aspired to be mediocre. It transended every human decency, every moral and for some reason - perhaps the sadist in me - I watched it all.
Bad movies can sometime be good. Piranha was a bad movie but I love it. Cheesy as **** . All the Friday the 13th movies were cheesy, and I love them too.
Now if you're looking for bad (really bad) movies then take a look at...
Mission Impossible 2
Independence Day
Armageddon
Batman & Robin
That reminds me
DEEP IMPACT
Robert Duval in an adaptation of the novel "The Walking Stick" would have been better.
m0ds
Phaethon
Which version of Y Tu Mama Tambien did you see, the uncensored director's cut that played in theatres or the censored piece they rent at Blockbuster Video?
yeah.. Batman and Robin! Thats POS has to be the most expensive sycky movie of all time. Shame on everyone who took part in making it happen. Even the catering guys!
Deep Impant.. hmmm.. I like it
