Just a casual question...maybe your group/club gig requires some type of 'uniform' or look but as our group doesn't, I'm undecided.
Footwear? I'm guessing most of you wear trainers/gym shoes or equivalent, especially considering pedal technique and flexibility.
I typically wear a baby blue tux with Dave Weckl kickers.
a leopard thong and an exact replica of Dorothy's heel-clicking shoes...
all right, 'nuff jokes...
jean shorts and a plain color pocket tee (for a drum key), and sneaks that have worn soles for those quick dbls on the single pedal

I prefer to use my Neil Peart Signature bike helmet to hold my walkman headphones on my head. I was using in ear monitors but I found people didn't know how I was able to cleary hear the band, thus the helmet.

shoes? i burned the weckl shoes in favor of adidas INDOOR soccer shoes, the name of the shoes is called "samba". [img]cool.gif[/img] also off the list are converse all-stars (these were hi-tops) & wrestling shoes (also hi-tops). i finally realized they are like a straight-jacket for my ankles! i need to find some low-top all stars, tho...great drum shoe.

I had the last laugh though... during the break, I managed to run to the car and came back for the second set wearing my 1983 Tommy Aldridge wig... as for the foot-wear, what else but my black leather dominatrix boots! I'm glad this question came up!
I tend to wear dark clothes with sheepskin- Steve Madden shoes. I like the feel of the sheep skin and organic African rubber on my DW pedals. I dress casually smart on most occasions and sometimes when the gig is for affluent people, I like to wear an Armani sport coat to impress the clientele. On outdoor gigs a burka usually helps shade my pale skin from the effects of the sun. Armani sunglasses are my first choice for outdoor gigs.
