A long time ago, I started a forum. But it was one of the many that never got more than a few posts. So it dissapeared when hostboard swithed ownership a while ago.
(I hate this keyboard, the shift key is broken and the j and c key will not produce a charachter unless I pound on it.)
I have been roaming around in cyberspace looking for a new home to haunt ever since...

I doubt you will see an agreement on what "views totals" actually mean.
Plus, views total can be "padded" by simply clicking on a topic a few times.
I think what Views Totals will ultimately mean is if someone feels they are not getting "enough" replies to their topic posts, but they see several views hits, they may feel a bit encouraged to continue their forum.

The new server(s) seem to be going very slow now.
Hostboard was never a fast site, but now it is dragging like heck.
People have ratings now too. I would like a rating.
Getting a rating is not all that it's cracked up to be.
someone's not happy with you alex, such low ratings already??
(i only recently [with help] deciphered the way you read those ratings!)
Clearly, the lower the rating the better.
why don'tcha just turn the ratings viewer OFF?
It helps my self esteem!
