the other day, when i read about the protests,
i wanted so very to come here and post about
how similar this iraq incident is like that
of vietnam... but i felt closed-mouth because
i felt it wasn't my place to compare the
actions of vietnam to current issues.

the precious, hyprocritical free world stood
aghast when saddam won election by unanimous
vote.... some, like alex, found this as a
strategic maneuver for political dominance...
maybe so.

at first, my aggitation for bush was merely trivial
banter... blah blah blah here, more blah blah there.
what bothers me most is bush's obvious lack
of regard for what the people are trying to tell
him. it really does kinda bother me that we are
about to go into a MAJOR world war with nothing
but 2 other (small) countries. ok, britian isn't
that small... but i have doubts that britian
will go the distance. and the padded efforts
with turkey really make me nervous.
allowing turkey to be supplied US weapons (in a
decision that took just a few days to make)
kinda bothers me.......... oh... just a tad.

have we even forgotten about north korea in this
mess?? jesus christ! these folks are building
bombs! its a perfect set-up for iraq/n.k. against
the US... this is highly dangerous...

even if we overlook turkey as aide... (which
we should do by default)... we certainly aren't
clever (or strong) enough to counter them.

i understand that many people believe that we
are invincible (tsk tsk)... 9-11 shoulda taught
us otherwise... but there is really no telling
what the effects of dumbass bush is going to do.

we have a lot of enemies....
many we don't even see at present...

But would you consider the fact that Bush has to keep pussy footing around with the U.N., As the U.N. being a central government of the world... Like the U.N. has the power to control the world. If so, we might be in some serious shit.

War is good for the economy. People do not think about how the economy is when there is war. Our economy is slow. The war that will result from the actions that are being taken from out "elected" president will kill many people. But the economy will benefit. That is all that matters. I am going to die. You are going to die. We will all die so that the war pigs can be elected again. Once the war starts, Bush will make it last as long as possible. We will never actually declare war, but it will be a war. Bush may be the last president of the united states.

my main point for posting the original link was
because i felt bush is behaving badly...
in as far as diplomacy towards our constitution
and 'democracy' is concerned.

i realize that bush isn't the first president
to act in accordance to totalitarianism....
but he is making graaaave problems for our
signature foundation of theory.

to ignore the public's opinion is to spit upon

I agree war has been good for the economy in the past but on this war i heard somewhere it would be different.

I guess one reason being the raised prices in oil but i also think because of the fact its going to use a different type of weapon what traditionally helps the economy during war isn't going to happen in this one.

WWII of course brought the U.S. out of the depression but it created jobs because of the industry and stuff. I dont think this one will have the same effect. I haven't read anything on it so i dont really know though. And im not an economist.
