ok....im off to high school........so......can anyone tell me what high school is like.....? anything to make me like less nervous......or can u give me some advice or something
the advice i have so far is that

so that means i have to stop procrastinating.....anything else?

join an activity..i didnt and i regreted that..
take smart people classes

all I'm gonna say is don't drop out....I did and I regret it....but I would like to further my education in the future [img]smile.gif[/img]
Be yourself and never let anyone tell you different.....
Study and definately get involved in activies....join a sport or a club.....you'll be so glad you did when you look back.....
Make some memories.....
You'll always remember these days for the rest of yourself.....
I totally agree with what everyone else has said. Just try to have as much fun as you can....while you can. If anyone gives you any trouble....just shrug it off......cuz they aren't worth the time. *L*

haha well hopefully not......so far everything is great except that today at registration i did the crappiest pose for my id card and yearbook picture [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img] and they assigned me a craptacular locker that has like tape all over it and writing and stuff! i hate it!.....and i got all my textbooks today so i had to carry about 15 pounds of books and i cant imagine carrying them everyday [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img] besides that it's all great

i hate my locker! its all the way on the other side of the school and my classes are no where near it [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img]
i had a gay locker one year in high school...
it was on the bottom row in the busiest hallway
in school... so i knew i'd get trampled and
barely have room to open it.
i decided i wasn't going to deal with it so i
went to the office and said that my locker lock
was broken and asked to be reassigned a new
locker (since school had already started)....
i got a new one and it was MUCH BETTER!
YEEEEEEEEEEEHAW!

yeah it sucks until you start to get used to it...
ive had the same locker for three years..this will be my fourth and last yr with the ugly thing...but it ORANGE [img]frown.gif[/img] and its in the middle of nowhere so i really cant use it, so everydaaayyy i have to carry around those 15pounds of books from the mornin til afternoon..it makes me mad [img]mad.gif[/img]
Keep lots and lots of popcorn in your locker for between classes. It ever goes bad and is good to eat. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
Oh ya and try to pay attention in any math classes. If you miss anything ASK QUESTIONS LOT OF EM. Or you will get soooooooooooooo far behind.

Yup math is important. Out of all my classes I took I wish I actually paid attention there now. Had to go back and say you dont know how to figure out something. It is almost as bad as someone telling you they dont know how to read. You just look at em like YA YOUR KIDDIN RIGHT? Anyhow you will find it very useful later in life.
Oh and never let groups decide who your friends are. You will miss out on a lot of good people if you only stay within a catagory.

i took keyboarding last year and i asked if i could go to computer applications but it would mess up my whole schedule and i probably wouldnt have honors classes so i just asked for keyboarding again.......i need to practice my number
id offer good advice but the kind of stuff id tell ya to do would get you tossed out probably.... i mean i barely made it thru high school myself... so i guess the best advice i CAN give is dont be me.... [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Lucky, I'm at school till EXACTLY 2:33. It's crazy...why not 2:30? haha it's bizzare but I usually get home at 3:00 because I have to take a bus [img]frown.gif[/img] but oh well...

Now listen hear youngins... when I was in school we had to be there by 745am and didnt get to leave until 320pm. This meant a 30 min bus ride there and a 30 min bus ride home if you wasnt workin after school. And fur lunch we only had 2 choices of food. What was on the menu that day, or sack it. We couldn't leave campus until we were sophmores and we only got 30 mins for lunch.
