Was fun I suppose, about 1 1/2 hours lagged though in everything, and dumb buy back racing stuff. Suprise suprise, jotech didn't take the win, sadly Kenny red lighted during the final races, oddly enough though that was his best reaction times/60ft times for the day though.. he let off on second gear..
all in all a good day. BTW boostcreeper/friend owes me 30$, hehe ;P

We didn't get to see who won the event in the quick 8 so if anyone knows post it please.. also best run for Jotech was a 9.98 I believe and Intercrew introduced they're new car (all motor), it is a crx with the top completely cut off.. looks wild.. They didn't qualify for the quick 8 I believe, nor any other classes they were running in, traction problems most likely.

I was there.. have it all on tape too.. but unfortunetly I am new to the import drag so I don't know anyone else other than jotec (kenny), jackie w/ carboy, or the hocus pocus car. It was fun, just wish all the big names like adam in his rx7 would of showed up. Those to mustangs were hell of impressive. both were twin turbo charged, the green one had nos, but unsure if he was spraying though. 8 sec runs were awsome!! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif

I was ther eand the weather was GREAT for racing. Got to see some of the dallas peeps, ArturboGSR98, RacerXgirl, and also gsrev right before I hit the interstate on my way home. Oh yeah...That Red Neck Marc C too! Boy was he RED from that sun. hehehe! J/K!!!!
That buy back nonsense has got to stop! I guess that is one of the ways the raceway makes it money but man does it DRAG the show on and on and on!
Yeah the Quick VII domestic was AWESOME!! I dont know if the yellow mustang was running nos but I know that the Green and Tan mustang wasn't running nos cause I looked @ his car before and it'a daily driven mustang with full interior and even the AC!!! But that other mustang pulled an 8.88 on the 1320.
The Quick VII FWD was surprising when kenny redlighted against Tim from Sonic Boom. They are from here localy and their shop is called sonic Boom. I call them sonic Crooks!!
Well it was tim From Sonic Crook against a pastel orange civic from California, Tim got off toa great launch and the guys from his crew were already cheering but halfway down the strip the orange civic reeled him and and passed him up! Very impressive race to come from behind and win! The looks on the faces of Sonic Crook's team were priceless as they saw the results on the board!!!
Great racing though but the waiting for the races in between groups was awefull.

Hey it was pretty fun. I think Sat nite was a lot of fun. Got some sun Sunday at least. Finally I got to meet some of you guys. I'm glad I didn't race, it's nice being able to relax and watch the races and not sit in the lanes all day. Thanks to my navigator Bryan http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif we had a hella drive home and made awesome time. hehe Lets all go again next weekend and stay at La Quinta again!

I'll be down there with MZM (my shop) to race my car. OMG, I'm getting my car back tomorrow. It's running at 14 psi, but I want to get it to 15 or 16 psi so I'll pick it up in the morning. It's running really good. I ended up using six (6) 440cc/min injectors to meet my fuel needs.

Well that is getting worked on tomorrow along with other little dings the car has! Also I am having my new wing painted. I am not Repainting it a new color or anything like that. Just getting the sh?t fixed.
Well I'll see how the money situation works out cause with Mardi Gras that just rolled around I spent some money. Another thing is since that event is this weekend coming up it's gonna be hard since it is so close to mardi gras! I'll see what I can do though. I will try my Hardest to get there though so don't count me out.
