Sure the universe is a great place, but if it wasn't here, no-one would miss it.

Perhaps the one you wonder about has been otherwise disposed... Or perhaps he/she/it just doesn't seem to have anything to say these days... Or perhaps she/it/he got lost one day on the way home and fell in a ditch where it/he/she stayed lying for days before someone found he/it/she and then she/he/it spent weeks in the infirmary recouping it's/her/his strength...
