I think I might have totaled out my car. I was driving home from a friends house after a long day at work (12hrs that night and 15 the night before) and I dosed off and the next thing I knew I was smashed up against a tree. I pushed in the drivers rear door about 7-8 inches. If I was just a few feet foward I wouldnt be talking to you guys now.
Ill post some pics when I get them from my friend with his dig cam.
And I was just about to buy the JRSC kit(sorry JRCIVIC)! Ill let you guy know more as it happenes.
PS I might have some parts for sale cuz all the damage was on the drivers side motor and everything else is fine?!

I am glad to hear that you are OK. It is much easier to fix cars than human bodies... we have plenty of time to resolve the car issues.

Sorry to hear that, Nick. At least you are okay, and no one was hurt. I had a friend who fell asleep at the wheel and ended up killing someone, and he had to face charges for it.

well the car is completely stock now. Now it can go to the body shop for the final decision. like I said before, hybrid might be comming my way. All I have to do is wait...

I'll take the motor mounts, and no need for shipping.
I dont think it will be totaled, it will definitely need to be straightened, but from pics I really cant tell. Depends on your insurance, and honestly it would cost at least 10G since the work on my car cost 7 grand for just the panels and painting. Give me a call, maybe me and Victor can come and see you. Busy early tonight, but maybe late or Monday

steve I think that the car will be totaled. If your car was 7 Grand then my car is at least 10. the car is only worth about $8500 so if the cost is more than 75% of the car it will be totaled... I will know for sure tomarrow when it gets towed to the shop. I think I will get a new WRX or something... I have to see how much they give me? Until then it up in the air. CAll me when you get done with when you are done with your stuff.

Sorry to hear about the accident. Same thing happened to my friend but unfortunately she is missing teeth, and has a pole in her arm so gladly your not hurt.
On another note, how much for the fields controller? Also Im looking for a new coolant overflow tank still got yours?

I will find out for sure what will happen to the car on thurs. They will come and tow the car to the shop. Does anyone know of any 92-94 civic HB SI's for sale. I am very instered in finding one in the area out somewhere in Good or great cond. Mileage not a issue.

I work @ import auto salvage and I would say they will more than likely total your car. I can't say for sure but I see cars come in all the time that aren't hit that hard and they are totaled. From quickly looking at the pics at the minimum you will need a left rear door,left quarter panel,left rocker and hinge pillar, and a left rear knee (complete suspension). That is what i can see from just the pics. There could be more or less. That is getting into some serious labor not to mention parts cost. Maybe they will not total it but don't be surprised if they do. Glad to see you are ok. Unfortunately I see all to often the results of speed and trees etc. A trip through your local import or domestic salvage yard can be an enlightening experience for both young and old alike.
