I just wanted to say a few things about my intention and the tone for the board. I think we are all adults here. I trust adults to behave in respectful ways. I'm nobodies Mom so you are on your own as far as "Rule" for the most part.

I would ask that people keep it about the ideas not about the people with the ideas. I would also ask people not to use racial slurs, derogatory language etc and so forth.

18 said they were interested. I pmed a few other people I didn't hear back from. I'm hoping if we start posting we can lure a few more people over to visit. I'm glad to see you all stopping in to check things out.

Feel free to direct anyone here that you think might be interested. I would have put up a general announcement if it had been appropriate.

I think its great to have a board where everyone is welcome. I get kind of uncomfortable with the "we don't want their kind here" boards.

I'm hoping we get a great and diverse crew here.

I really am interested in what other people think. I know what I think. My friends have very similar positions to mine. One of my favorite parts about the old board was the reality check it provided to me about how the rest of the world is thinking.
