Hi gang,
Hostboard is moving to a new server tomorrow night. They estimate the sight downtime will be 2-3 hours to change the domains. We've been thru this before gang.
So if the downtime is longer, be patient, it will come back.
If it is down for a few days, it might be your ISP has chached the wrong domain and it takes longer to clear out than some other domains. Noone will be deliberately blocked during this move. I promise.

grrrr It only took me 3 days to find the **** thing. I had no clue there was this hop to option until I emailed feedback for help. I did check TV, Space, Social areas never thought to check books.

Same here, Prof! I never did find the Zocalo in the forum list--found it on the drop down search list. And where are the rest of the topics?!
BTW, I sent out a life boat for Absom. She ought to find her way here soon.
Did you note that the voting re the new Hostboard has "Terrible" winning by 5 lengths!

I think alot of that has to do with not being able to find the forums. Hopefully that will change. The new features are nice but navigation is a nightmare

I would appear there is at least one bug. Do not use any contractions in a post, as the single quote mark used as an apostrophe causes MySQL to hang. I posted a series of JMS speaks messages, and after some editing, got it to post finally. However, those are no longer exact quotes, as the apostophe has been replaced with the non-contracted version for some of the words used.

There are 2 known issues at this moment that have been reported.
1 posts with apostophes
2 posts with physical links
Should have those ironed out tonight as well as a few others we know about but users have not stumbled upon yet [img]wink.gif[/img]

We really appriciate all the work you and others are putting into this.
For those of you who don't know, 1QuickSI is the one who took over Hostboard when the origional owners could no longer keep the site going. He was a poster like us. So in a very big way I think Hostboard is special.
