Saved Topics

Post what topics you have saved here. That way we know who has what.

Also, once a topic is saved, if you want it placed somewhere where we all can read it please email me.

Seemed like a good idea so we all know where to look for saved topics.

Right now I have saved the ABP Character Descriptions and Prequel Myth (both Crossroads)

CT: Are you going to try and copy all the PATB's and Ancient Baths? If not, let me know which ones you are not going to do and I will try and save those.

OK I have now copied Crossroads Location discussion and Crossroads Functions topic.

The only other topics in Crossroads I am going to save will be the Group 2 stuff and the general Crossroads storyboard.

I know I spaced on something. Topics I save at Sci Fi Sites I am posting "Note to self. Topic Saved"

Since I am not posting at Sci Fi Sites, you can find the topics I have saved pretty easily by visiting my homesites and looking at what I have posted today.

Just finished saving the Group 2 Storyboard

god, I am going to have to re-read what we wrote gang. Just seeing the story titles brought back lots of great memories....

Finished Saving Group 2 Discussion board and I am heading home.

People may want to check out the Babylon 5 boards to see if there are topics there that they want to save.

I think I bit off a bit more than I can chew!

I believe there were 12 or 13 PATDs and a few Ancient Baths. I believe most of them had not much more than 500 posts per. http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Saving stuff:

I have saved about half of the Crossroad topic (211 posts) and will finish today. I also saved sections of the Crossroad General Information topic (the parts that actually contained general information, and weren't just bitching and grousing).

I may go and save my "Oinker and Boinker" posts if I can find them. Other than that, I don't have much attachment to old posts.

How do you get to the V1? Everytime I go to SFV I end up in the new improved (Yea right) version.

I started on the original Ancient Baths topic and got 125 posts into it before I had to go. I will finish it tomorrow.

My god, the memories that topics brings back. All the AS names, watching people trickle in and the place grow....

Started saving on the PATD topics today.

Started on "Welcome to the PATD" and got 175 out of the first 500+! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/eek.gif

I'll do more through tomorrow and Friday evening and will have even more time this weekend, but if anyone else wants to volunteer to help, I certainly won't object... http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

What I'm NOT saving are postings of the birthday list or any posts that are only saying to add a name to the list, any of the infamous "Bump!" posts or any double posts I run across.

Some of the posts had pictures in them which are now unfortunately broken links, but even so, the pictures can't be saved along with the posts. Too bad too, because some of them were GREAT!

Anyone who made a pic to go along with a post should try to find it and save it...maybe one of these days we can put them back together again...

Kimball, once you get to Vines 2, if you scroll down you will find a link to the Sci Fi Community area. It is on the right hand side and really close to the bottom.

CT: Let us know which ones you have saved so that we are not duplicating each others efforts. Save what you can. I found that once I got going, it wasn't that bad.

Am saving Strangers in a StrangeLand on Crossroads.. has sentimental value for me but also we have just recently started using it again..

I want to save some of Starlight.. but they have wrecked it so it is hardly possible..

Well, it looks like SFV is down, yet again, so no more saving for tonight....

I will not be copying more posts until Saturday (busy with class prep and writing)

I am planning on spending this weekend copying topics out of Past Babylon 5 and Future Babylon. There are alot of smaller topics about specific episodes that I thought would be nice to have. Memories of what we thought and the like.

There is one Ancient Bath topic left, AB 4, but I am not planning on copying that right now. If I am able to get most of the Babylon 5 stuff, I will look at that topic.

I would urge people to think about what topics they might want to save. I am saving things that mean alot to me. I think CT is doing the same. There is no guarentee that we will save the topics you want saved. I now after the Pathfinder move and eventual shut down there were topics people wished we could have saved but had not. This is the time to save your favorite topics. None of us know how long the site is going to stay up, so save now while you can.
