I went to see them last night in Sheffield and they are still just as good as the last time i saw them (GY '97).
I personally think that it is still very much A...only heavier, listening to "How ace are buildings" and "monkey Kong" i think the progression theyve made is quite obviously not to cash in. They may have been cheesier before but that is ALL people thought of them. They're still cheesy but now they just rock harder.
Oh yeah, and i know it's your opiniopn that A suck which is fair enough...
so my opinion is movielife suck shit!!!

All the bands were really good.
I'm not gonna argue with you Gaz. It's fair enough if you don't like A. but PLEASE!!! i beg you, all of you, stop calling it "nu metal". All they've done is carry on rocking exactly how they always loved but now theyve turned their guitars up.
Plus i dont care if the chord changes are obvious. I find it really catchy and sing-a-long rock fun.

I love A. The B-sides fucking rule too. There's a song called "the distance" which is gonna be on the new album (out march 4th-buy buy buy) and that is amazing...and it isn't (dare i say it) "nu metal" at all.
