as you all know the queen mum died yesterday at 3.15pm easter saturday, many of you probably couldnt care less about the royal family but this woman was a true lover of everything.she saved this country in the war aswell as the royal family. we need more people like her and will be missed. carl xx

I dont think anyone cares if the hag died or not......she was a snob who lived to a grand age of 100 and odd.....she had the best medics in the world and everything she wanted...but she died and no one cares.....the only good thing she ever did was die and give us another holiday day.
She did alot for us, but alot of that was done by ALOT of people behind the scenes with her as a spokesperson.
but at the end of the day, a death is a death, independant of who it is and why....so i give my love to the queen mother.

Hmmmmmm.Doubtless she had done a lot,but when all is said and done after the media focusing on Dianas death so much,and virtually ignoring Mother Theresas,I have been desensitised to anything to do with the royals.They bring in tourists cash and thats a good thing,but I am already sick of hearing about it.Its part of life.It isnt tragic-it is expected.She was 102.It cant have come as a shock to anyone.More of a relief.

What is pissing me off most is the fact that they keep calling her "Queen Elizabeth". She's never been Queen!!!! Queen Elizabeth I was queen in 14/1500s I think, and Elizabeth II is our current Queen!!!
She was the Kings wife, but that's like the Duke Of Edinburgh now, he's not the King.
That has pissed me off the most about this whoile affair.

i think she knew she was dying afterall she was 102 and had been in hospital several times for things ordinary poeple would have been put on the NSH wating list 4 , she lived her life and i think everyone should just accept that she has died they shouldnt morn for her should get on with her life after all thats what she would want wouldnt she?

i kinda agree with lee, king of the jocks here...
but in other respects shes done wquite a lot for the country, she never fell out with anyone or was too stuck up to sit and take notice of events like the current queen but then again being a royal i suppose it makes you stuck up cos you just sit on ya arse all day and then walk around the commonwealth getting stuff for doing nothing.
It really doesn't matter who she was in the grand scheme of things, she was a harmless old woman who had the devotion and admiration of generations of not only her own family but of many generations of the British public too, that surely makes her passing sad in anybody's books. Unless you do have a heart of stone. Yeah she got nearly ?700 000 from the public register, and yeah she had a huge entourage, and yeah she had the best medical attention available. That doesn't make the person she was any less ace.
