thanks to all for turning up.
Andy i have some money for you.
i really enjoyed this gig, what did any one else feel? we (unlucky fried kitten) were so much beter than last time, i thought next autumn soundtrack were kinda doomed by the lack of pedals, nd i hve to say i was dissapointed after their ace show at the spiders.
i missed art chool drop outs (sorry adam, recovery time) andy was fantastic. sony were much better than usual, enjoyed it alot more. ride on 12 were ace, i loved it, and we got a card from the p.a guy entitled "Vin withers, magician and childrens entertiner" ACE BASTARD!
Cheers Joe,
If you are coming to the Take Down The Union Jack gig you can give us it then.
I really enjoyed the night by the way. All the bands played well and the crowd was very responsive. Sorry I couldn't stay to the end as I had to go pick the missus up.
Cheers Andy.
Yeah man, it was cool. I really liked the cover of 'Teenage kicks', by the Art School Dropouts, man. They can come and read political literature and compare our scarves in my house anytime. Ride on the 12 were excellent, and Unlucky Fried Kitten were fantastic, for want of a more intelligent sounding word. I have to say that The Next Autumn Soundtrack were extremely unlucky, so I will withhold judgement until I get back from my tour of China, to see them at the Beachcomber.
However, there weren't many handsome revolutionairies dancing in the streets and reciting poncy bullshit, even at midnight, so maybe next time, folks. Until then, keep it real and sXe, for me, your hero.
p.s. My old band wrote new noise, so go buy the EP (yeah right, it's a fucking single) now!!!!!
p.p.s. Today I picked up some old shitty folk records next to a fantastic vegan restaurant in Freeman street, and I have to say you Grimsby people sure have some hidden treasures, man! listen to Born Against!!
xDennisx
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahah ahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
i'm sure that Teenage Kicks will now definatly become a regular in our set list!
although we fucked up a bit at the gig, i asure u it was only coz i was a bit pissed etc...oo err
etc......
etc...........
*DEAD*
Hi
the gig destroyed my confidence but i am preparin very well for the king prawn gig
ive fixed absolutley everything and hopefuly there wont be any set backs
we'll be much better than before
thanks for your patience!
I thought The Next Autumn Soundtrack were hugely better than they were at the Spider's gig, which means they were very good indeed
In fact, I think pretty much all the bands were on the best ever form I've seen them, which eliminated the potential seen-it-before
Yeah, good bands and a good night for me
and a hand to hold eh thom?
we were NOT on best form!
Definatly NOT.lol
i was half pissed for starters.lol (at least i think i was) (dont u hate it when u think you ARE pissed, but ur not,so u think ur not pissed at all,but u are...CRAZY!)
anyway.......the gig at the Spiders the other week was probably when we were best on form, but none of u were there to see it! I think bands perform much better if they use their own equipment!
it shouldnt make a difference, good musicans should be versatile, and besides, all the stuff was top notch.
wheres the problem.
i appreciated being able to borrow a kit that was much better than mine
I agree with nat, it can't have made the bands feel good with joe shouting that at them.
The irony being that the gig took place in the wake of a recent Ex-Members performance where said band didn't leave the stage when their time was up
Fucking Ex-Members, they think they're so ace, but they're not nearly as good as The Next Autumn Soundtrack
agreed, gay bastards!i also agree with nat, about joe being unprofessinal, hence me ignoring him on stage and giving him the finger,
ok ok ok...calm down,i was only saying...i dont really care what i use,it was just my drummer complaining coz he is not clever enough to only use one tom..he needs the full kit to cain it out...
just saying, twas a fair coment methinks
fair cock

Who held hand's with that ugly monger?
Someone's desperate.
i wanted to hold his hand but SOMEONE got there first. ah well, ill have to find me a girlie instead,
adam u was ace at psiders, just a shame it was really the wrong type of crowd... i love you

anyway, thom has lovely hands
I thought the bands played o.k Ride on the XII were good. There were, however, too many bands on for the time allowed. Giving each band a 20min set is pretty pointless and also shouting "you finished yet?" across the room at a band half way through their set is pretty disgusting Joe.
Just my opinion
yeh, true, but how come u r miss negativity these days natalie?
shouldve ignored him adam. its always the best way.
if it wasnt for me cutting set times by ONE song, we wouldnt have fitted all the bands in. I told all the bands before hand that they could only play 20 mins each as that was the only way we'd fit everyone in. You all agreed, i think complaining about something you agreed to is rediculous. i hope you understand and stop being pissed off.
Thanks again.
PS ed you gave me the finger and your band did as i politely asked of them. aren't you the little rebel / king o das scene.
thanks again to everyone for making it possible.
yeh? ill fuck ya!
yes,it really pissed me off when joe was shouting at me to get off!....we didnt get to play our finisher, "Everyones So Elitist"
grrr [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
lol
Ed, stop using my sayings. Why don't you just wheeze and become really obese too? eh? eh? you dribbley eyed bastard. Yeah? I'll break you.
YOURE FUCKIN MOTHER MATE [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
