Guys, you know, a lot of us have websites and many of us link to each other anyway, so why don't we all join a webring that search engines could actually find. We could do our part to promote the Elf on the 'net. Fur and Brimstone has a webring, but they're the only ones on it. I will be joining it at my next site update, anybody else care to join me?

Yeah, bottom of the front or the links page. I'd be tempted to put it at the bottom front, just for better visibility.

Hmm... I wonder just how many of us *do* have Nighty fan or fic sites? Me, Lotusson, Beamie, BC, Rex, Elwing, KC used to but I'm not sure now.... hmm... who else? I know ages ago we had a thread for people to pimp their sites. I may start that up again and see who all we can round up. I may wait until we switch to bamf.us though so we don't lose it.

Slarti, yup, f&b is the only site in the the Indigo Allusions webring right now. I made it a while back but never really advertised it, so nobody, save me, has joined. If anyone with a Nighty site is interested in joining Indigo Allusions, just go here.

I'll be expanding the criteria, so don't really concern yourselves with the "art and fics only" policy. It'll soon be opened to all Fuzzy-related sites. [img]smile.gif[/img]

For the record:

'dodgebullets' is from Excalibur #63 and 'endurance' is from Excalibur #55 (in which Kurt also shows his martial artistic skills). I'll have to dig through my collection for the rest of 'em...I'm working on a little Kurt shrine of my own so I've been scanning like mad from my collection.

And as for your rant about Kurt's bio/stats at Marvel.com...even Marvel can't agree on his correct statistics...I've got several 'official' bios of Kurt...and they're all different!

The 1991 Marvel Trading Card series (my first official bio) gave Kurt an aglity rating of 6 (out of 7)...EQUAL to Spider-Man and 2 points HIGHER than Daredevil! Stamina was a 3 (above average), a point lower than both Spidey and DD. Strength, speed, durability and intelligence were all 2, which is peak human, normal, normal and normal, respectfully...all of which were exactly the same as DD. Spidey's stronger (4), faster (3), tougher (3) and smarter (4) than both of them.

I mean...I know he got badly hurt in Uncanny X-Men #211 but could it have changed him that much?

Sadly, yes, you have to register to join. It's not that bad since they don't hassle you after that, but still, the fact that you have to kinda ruins the easiness of joining the 'ring. Not my rule, but there's nothing I can do to get rid of it. Well, I could try to create my own ring from scratch, but I have no clue as to how. [img]smile.gif[/img]

KL, what do you mean you can't see my site? The link's there on the main page, and the last time I looked, it was working. I can't get to it myself at the moment, because the school where I'm working at, has a filter, and because of some of the stuff on my site, it get's filtered out. [img]frown.gif[/img]

wark! two things I guess... I randomly came across "Respect The Elf" a few days ago- and I really enjoyed it. I hadn't checked out Marvel's stats- but I always remembered having the same arguments when I looked at the backs of my trading cards.
about the whole webring thing -Wow... that's kind of amusing- a few days ago I was complaining to my friends that there wasn't a 'crawler webring (sorry! I didn't see the one that had been started!) So I started my own- but I am the only one in it- (ehheh! no big surprise there!) I dont know if any of you would be interested in joining it- but I don't think I meet the requirements to join Indigo Illusions (i only have 3 fan fics/art! I'm working on it! promise!!!) but yeah, I'm glad someone else recognized the need for a NC webring ::cheers:: Oh... if anyone was interested in joining my pathetic little ring- here's a link...
