A trend did develop.

It started with the liar comment you made, expanded to me being "wrong" about complimenting Soul Films on a comment they had made, and supernova'd on the ADM slander topic post.

Anyone of the three events, not noticed.

Any two of the three events, I would notice and wonder.

But all three events, so close together, something is up.

Not really. You revealed that while people were harrassing me on another forum, you lurked, but said nothing. You saw some of the ridiculous things going on, but you said nothing. But you used it for your entertainment.

Must be nice never feeling shame, cuz you could OD on your actions, or inactions, from a year ago.

post war with you. i take great pride in understanding
things the way i do and it is highly insulting
(and laughable) for someone of your stature to
make comments like that.

now if you don't understand it, then ask.
if you understand it and disagree, then say so.
if you understand it and agree, then move on.
if you understand it and fear it or don't
understand it and wish to ignore it, then
delete the f ucking post.

You chose to view everyday situations as mere entertainment, and nothing more. You actually believe you can control a situation that you are a voyeur to by simply choosing to turn it on and off as you see fit.

Lots of people watch too much TV. But some of these people would never dream to view other's peoples situation as if they were watching a television show that can be easily turned off or changed to another channel, as you have chosen to do.

You claim to not watch television, yet you view real-life goings on around you as if it were one big television set and you own the remote.

If you don't see the irony of that mindset, I can only hope you do see the irony of that mindset someday. In your own way, you watch more television than most people on the planet, you just use real-life situations as your television.

I'm not trying to one up you or have a post war, but as I said elsewhere, there is no such thing as a fool-proof plan.

Sometimes you blow my mind, Alex. I just dont get how someone can consistantly miss seemingly obvious points over and over.
The only irony in that scenario is the fact that people like you, whom also view reality as a television show, seem to be easily prompted to spawn initial, appetitive (subjective) responses to nothing. Like television, you are poked to jump to an emotional restitution for your perceptions and you feel justified with them. That is the difference between you and Shatzy. You claim that she views her surroundings as that of a television set but she is not living a constant melodrama on daytime tv.

You leave out parts of the equation, foxracer. (by the way, you're sounding quite eloquent.)

The root of this situation does not involved just what happened on antoher forum over a year ago. What makes the situation "melodramatic" is that Shatzy and I occasionally communicated with each other via e-mail. Shatzy shared some personal info via e-mail in such a way as to imply some type of a connection.

Somewhat close to what one might call an internet friendship. That is what makes the idea of Shatzy lurking and watching me on a neutral forum as I needlessly defend myself over really dumb comments, and viewing these encounters as entertainment, tainted.

When a nemesis from a forum chastizes me for using my name as a link to my own forum, and does it on a forum where the members pretty much visit that one forum on Hostboard and no others, it has an impact.

Just one response from a "lurker" (such as Shatzy) saying..."Excuse me, but using your ID as a link is completely normal and even encouraged by Hostboard".

Just one comment, would have made a world of difference. There were several comments from a select few, that if answered by anyone other than myself, would have quelled the situation. Shatzy was in a position to be that person, but chose to watch the situation as if it were a television show.

Shatzy has now said that all I ever was was entertainment to her. I do recall her on a few occasions in the past saying "You amuse me" after I had posted or e-mailed something funny.

I now see that statement in a new light.
