its a combination of mental ward, garbage collection,

I would say a week. Just from my experience, employers wait to collect applications (usually 1-1 1/2 weeks) and then set up interviews.

Be asertive...Call or just show up and say, where do I start? [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

i suppose i'm a bit curious because when i went
to fill out the 'application'... the chicks behind
the counter were just going off on how badly
they needed help... i almost felt like i was
the only one that applied.

i doubt that... but they were making a big deal
about it. i would have waited around on the
director to show up (i got to the place at like
8am)... but as much as i stalled the application
process... i felt odd about sitting around.

i'll feel so bad if i don't at least get a call....

i saw the place.... its not like they have high standards!

You should call them and find out what's going on. That is one of the best ways to show that you really want the job.

I don't think i could survive daycare for more than one day.

I am not sure what scares me more.. the part where she applied for a job or the part where she was gonna agree to letting the government take part of the money she made in the form of taxes. [img]eek.gif[/img]

well... i didn't get a call back from the pos
daycare. guess i should call them tomorrey...
in the meantime, i'll be checkin out the local
paper to see what i can get.

I'd stop back in at say 1-1:30pm on monday..and tell them you were checking back to see if they had a chance to look over your application..i think in most daycares(speaking from exp as i worked in one for 2 years) thats a good time to stop by..its after lunch..sometimes even nap time.. [img]wink.gif[/img] ..so the caregivers have a break then!
