That show is awesome...Ryan Stiles is the best, but the other regulars are great too

well, you said don't get to watch it anymore, and i thought that you have never watched tv, so that is the confusing issue. when did you stop watching tv and why?
i've always disliked watching television as a form
of 'something to do when bored'....
this was especially apparent when my ex-bf
used to watch tv ALL THE TIME... every waking
moment he was at home. on top of that, he had
a routine set up around watching the television
and not disturbing his normal 'flow' of shows.
i officially ended all television when i moved to conway.
unless it happened to be on at someone's house
or in a restaurant or something.
its amazing to note how, when you no longer watch
tv, just how society thrives on it.

whats the difference in watching a movie on dvd and watching your favorite television program?
if you like a certain program...what's wrong with watching it?
the only thing on TV that I try to catch every week if i can is motocross on ESPN2. It isnt something to do when I'm bored, IMO...I simply enjoy watching it since it is something I am interested in.
if you miss watching certain programs, then why deprive yourself?

and a television program... is that most television
programs are designed to keep you viewing....
days, weeks, months in advance. in addition to
that, the time is disturbed by commericals for
more products. in movies this system is merely
subliminal and not necessarily disruptive of
the show.

I used to watch quite a few tv shows on a per week basis, in fact, quite a lot. I liked watchign them and I didn't want to miss them, but then I got my job working nights, which is when all these shows were on. At first, I was kinda pissed because I'd miss the new Drew Carey episode, or whatever... but now, I'm glad. I only watch TV nowadays
a) during dinner (because I have to sit with the family, who watch it) or
b) if it's one of the few shows I like, of which there are only two or three.

Most of the time TV is just like a tease. All she's doing it for is to keep your attention.
And most stuff on tv just isn't worth watching.
Anything on ESPN or the show "Law and Order" is worth watching....also any station showing a baseball game, basketball game, or football game, as long as it is high school or professional.

To be honest, i never really understood people watching sports on tv. It's much more fun to do em. Not that i sport that much, but i'd rather be at training than watching some guy doing my sport on tv.
well, i am the same way, i enjoy playing much better, but the only catch is that not always are the facilities there to play or participate in the said activity. so watching is the next best thing.
What is pathetic is that i'm usually in bed by the time Conan comes on...but back in the day when i would stay up past 11 o'clock, i loved that show....and i will be more than happy to admit that i'm a david letterman fan....don't like leno though
of course, i'd rather be watching espn anyways

Well, i was trying to gauge the interest, so i'd just take the whole movie fragment and cut the john cleese part out and encode it for you guys to download [img]smile.gif[/img]
But i aint gonna do that before i know if there's sufficient interest for it.
