Insatiable video

was there really another version if the video insatiable that sony won't let darren release?

yes and it was shot is AUS

There is another version, but Darren and his management didn't like the finished product! Hence the one we saw.

It was indeed shot in Australia - and there were clips on TV showing it being filmed and everything....but it's not true that Sony "won't let" Darren release it. Not according to Darren anyway, if I recall correctly!

ya like you said darren didn't like it even tho the vid wes very expensive "if it was ganna be realsed it would be the most expensive vid in all of AUS" heard sony wanted to maked it atlest an AUS vid version "dunno the speelin'" but they changed there mind when they saw the other vid was much better

does anyone know if there some where that you can see it?

As far as I know you can't see it anywhere, although someone might have the little clip of it being filmed...Darren dancing about on a stage flaunting wavy golden locks, LOL! I saw it at the time but haven't got it saved, sorry. They were filming the bit that would have gone with "We never sleep there's just so much to do.." etc.

Hope someone knows where you can find it.

Darren did say they might consider releasing some of the video later, perhaps as part of a video to another song! So you never know...

Hm, neither can I! I think there's an email link on one of the pages on that site though - might be worth sending her an email to ask if she has the clip available?

On the Sony BBS there is a thread by Daz-2002 called "Check This Out"

she has stills on her website, some from the Today show in USA, there are some stills of the scrapped Insatiable video there.

I hope we get the video at somepoint.

I thought it was going to be on the UK single, but it was just the plain ole' regular video

I am very glad they put the second video on though, cos otherwise I wouldn't have seen it! I can't watch it online anywhere cos my modem is too slow, only get the audio. And I don't have satellite/cable TV...And doesn't he look sexy in that suit???? I wasn't so sure about the "blonde pirate" look he seemed to be sporting in the first video,lol!

I am still waiting to see the version that has been released...I watch MTV/VH1 just about all day long and nope..haven't seen it yet

Oooh bad luck Sara...it might be available to view online somewhere - I know it used to be...

Failing that, how about trying to get a copy of the UK single with it on careful though cos there are 2 versions of the single, you need the one with this track listing:

1. Insatiable (Album Version)
2. Falling At Your Feet (Demo Recording)
3. Insatiable (Specificus Insomniac Mix)
4. Insatiable (Video)

The one with Ride on doesn't have the video.

I know it's not as good as watching it "big" on your TV - but it's better than nothing. I have only seen it on my TV cos a friend videoed it and sent me the tape (thanks Ally, in case you are lurking here, lol!), otherwise I'd only have seen it via the single on my computer.
