Matrix will,in about 3 weeks time...start putting gigs on every Friday night...giving each and EVERY band in gy a chance to play..plus cool stuff from out of town...also rock nights too....A regular venue and a scope for bigger and better things.
If anyone wants to organise a distro thing there too for these nights...then let me know....I'll be happy to accomodate.

I thought it was Nat putting the gig's on? Really bands should be contacting the promoter and not the DJ.. surley thats right..
Nat is helping put the gigs on yes...but I am acting as a promoter too...Nat has contacts with various bands(slaz mark is in on this too I believe).But I am actually running the nights so that we dont have the same local bands playing each week...because of the limited amount of bands in gy...its best to have them on one or two at a time...so it doesnt get boring.
Whilst you might not be interested in this...I have contacts with various hardcore bands to be put on too...a weekly gig event requires way more than one person to do it...and that way no-one can make the accusation that it is only one or two types of music being catered for.
Plus I am online loads more than nat is too...and I can work with her in that respect....

What H/C bands can you get? is it metal type H/C or melodic stuff.. I love the melodic stuff...

Thats not what its about Joe at all...its somewhere for people to go to gigs without the aggro of the west marsh...something that puts a lot of people off going..Nat is still running shows there too....Jesus Christ...it sounds like you're trying to criticise when something good happens for 'the scene'

No,I didn't ignore it...I am trying to compile a list of active gy bands at the minute...with contact numbers and everything.Sony have been put in mind.....Its just we havent got a definate start date yet

I'm gonna have a word about the under 18s in bands thing......if they are all junior members...and dont try to buy any alchohol...there may be a chance of sorting it....but it depends on what Lee says....we shall see....how many bands out there are old enough????
