Spring Cleaning = Drum Gear For Sale

Man, I probably have as much gear as Terry Bozzio, only difference is that he has all of his setup at once! [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I've been doing some spring cleaning and I wanted HOD members to get first dibs. It's good stuff including a rare Istanbul flat ride, K Custon Dry Light Ride (sorry Steve!), Custom 13" Aluminum Snare etc... take a look...

BTW, do you really expect to get a Sabian endorsement? Good luck with that, seriously. Let us know if it works out. I tried years ago, and they would only consider it if you were regularly recording on released product AND touring substantially with high profile artists.

I used to play with some big names in Canada back in the day, and Sabian never threw me a bone. It didn't really matter though, as they're not that expensive, and I still love their stuff. The thing about an endorsement deal is the support; That's what I wanted. I may try them again later this year when my latest stuff gets released. It's worth a shot.

I don't need anything for free, but I do hate having to go through retail outlets for my needs. They're all so useless.

I have a NEW Sabian 14" Radia if your interested. It is left over from when the guy who purchased my father's drum shop years ago went bankrupt to many times and gave the stuff back to pay off his bills with my Mom now.

I heard that the Sabian guys would take Zildjians from emplyess at my old music store and offer them real cheap deals on cymbals so they could melt the Zildjians. [img]graemlins/shhh.gif[/img]

Hey Chris,

Im really interested in the K Custom Dry Light ride, the zildjian dealer over here in Hong Kong is a bastard and he has issues with people getting the drum gear that they want etc...so he never has these 20" sizes in stock...

I live in Hong Kong, would you be able to ship here? do you know how much that would cost? Do I have to bid on e-bay to get the ride or can i make u an offer appart?

SP, as for the ride - yeah I can ship anywhere as long as you can pay for the shiping COST. You would have to play fair and bid on ebay, I expect it to reach CLOSE to $200... nicer K customs usually do.

I believe they melt them to re-use the metals as a metalurgist can separate what they need and use it again.

Geez!!! Who'da thought there was that much tension between the Sabians and the Zildjians?? I was always told that the guy that went and started Sabian is the original maker of the "K" when he was with Zildjian. I've had a 15" "K" Dark crash for some 20 years that I love to death. It's one of those "special" cymbals that just sounds amazing. Loaned it to a few friends for recording on a couple of albums. Same with my Blaiemare snare.
