Me, Ben Hunter and Mrs Girl just walked home from the west marsh (crazy enough,seeing as tho we live in Cleethorpes)....when we decided to walk over the "Fly-over"...on the edge,the edge where u could fall onto the train tracks below,etc.........crazy.......pah,i dont know......
then the cops came right near the end of our journey and told us to "stand the other side of the rails, please".....so i sed "aaawwwww....pppplllzzzz....we're nearly at the end"

I got caught putting fruit and veg stores windows through, because im dead against companies that dont kill cows and destroy forests for a quick buck
i went to court and everything and all the cool kids thought i rocked!

well once while i was at school, me and some friends broke into an old house in waltham. we found a phone that still worked. we went back for amny night making prank calls to pizza house and all types of take aways for about a week, then we got caught.

Oingy_Boingy, you will never be better than anyone on this board until you actually do something worth while. It's easy to criticise people for their tastes etc, when you don't actually do anything worth mentioning yourself, or reveal anything about yourself. More likely than not, you haven't the ability to get up and do something worth talking about.
I mentioned thing I have done just because I dont devote all my time to becoming the next big thing within a lame "GY" scene. I suppose your going to be one of those people that never leaves town because Grimsby has everything that you will ever need.

And stop telling people to wise up, you really haven't done anything of merit to tell people to do this, as if you are on a higher intelectual plain than everyone else.
As for never leaving this town, why don't you tell me your future plans, and I shall share my own.
In the event of making a false assumption, I really don't like arguing with someone I don't know too much about, but since you seem to lack the self esteem to share any of your actual views or opinions, it makes it very easy for me to make a false accusation against you.
If someone was to create a topic which involved me explaining my likes and dislikes then maybe I would but since no-one has asked me my personal preference on anything then who I am to impose my personal feelings on others. I'm not the sort of person who comes on saying "hello everyone blah blah I like this I dislike this" without being asked. I do find the majority of bands people like now are boring. But still there are people on these boards whos opinions I value and you may have guessed yours isnt one you maybe the nicest guy in the world as I see many others like you. But i see you as just another person.
As for my future plans I may take a year out after finishing my college to travel the world see new places meet new people but after all that I will be returning home then trotting off to uni

Yes I realise that not everyone can be into the same things as me that would just be silly. I do see myself on a higher intellectual plain as some and I do tend to play on that.
You say my post dont reveal to much about myself reason being I dont want everyone on this board to know who I am at the risk of being lynched by the whole of the beloved GY scene.
The thing is, you have told me to 'wise up', based soley on your assumption of me. My plan for the near future is almost identical to yours (I am studying Music Technology in college, following my qualifying for a national diploma I am taking time out to travel with friends, after which I am studying further Music Technology and eventually opening a recording studio, hopefuly in a beautiful woodland [img]smile.gif[/img] )
My problem is, is that you have assumed a lot of things about me, things that you don't have the slightest idea of knowing wether it is true or not. You have placed everyone on this forum in the same category, when in truth we are all different people with different ideas from one another.

grimsby and the surrounding area has everything i need. Infact it is one of the best places in the country to do what i want.
and dont come out with comments like, "so your a bum then" becoz you wont even know what a hard days work is yet. and grimsby isnt that bad, look at hull and bradford and liverpool .......etc.
I'm pretty sure I know what a hard days work is. I wouldnt say just because you choose to stay in Grimsby you are a bum depends what you like. I would just like to broaden my horizons
