heck ya im excited. i cant wait to see the movie at midnight and im just as excited to go get all the new figures on april 2nd
The only thing I ain't excited about , wel I kind of have a mixed feeling about it is that it might be pg-13.
I'm happy for me but then again it would be the only Star Wars movie I could have gone with my son (who's turning into a big fan)and I ain't going to bring him if it's too rough. I guess I'll have to see it first and decided after if he can see it.
I can't wait to see it. All the preview stuff that is out looks really cool, but I fear it will turn out like EP2 [img]frown.gif[/img]

I can't get excited about the theatrical release dates as I never got to the theater to watch movies. I always get them when released on DVD, so I have another 6-9 months past May when it is released in the theater for me to start getting excited....

I'm not overly excited about it. while I do enjoy watching the star wars movies, I'm not a diehard fan.
My boyfriend, on the other hand, is bouncing off the walls waiting for it to come out. He's watched the little online trailer about 50 times.

I watched EP 1 again a couple of weeks ago since it was released and was shocked by how bad it was. All I could think of was 'Roger Corman rip off' - not a real SW movie. It really is terrible. EP II wasn't much of an improvement but it was better. I'm really holding out hope that Lucas is gonna go out with a bang. This is his last chance to redeem the franchise. I'm hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. [img]graemlins/hmmm.gif[/img]

well 1 and 2 were no where near as good as the originals but i am really hoping this one is good
I don't even try to compare them to the originals.
A BIG part of what made those so good was just
plain cast chemistry. Episode II's storyline is
really not that bad at all in the context from which it's taken. But you can't take away from the fact that Hamill, Ford, and Fisher just played really well off of each other. That kind of chemistry in a cast is rare.

I'll probably go see it on opening day since I saw the previous two on opening day. I'm not overly excited about seeing it yet but I will be as we get closer to May.
Not really excited, but I am looking forward to it. I am not much of a fan of Ep. 1 & 2, but I think this one will be better than those. How much better remains to be seen. There will still be way too much CGI, and that Hayden fuck playing Vader is just so wrong, but yeah, I am looking foward to it. lol

I think having a son who is getting into Star Wars and appreciating ep 1 and 2 helps me making peace with those two. I'll never feel like when I watch the originals because i ain't a kid anymore. But I don't think they suck like most people think.

I wasn't really excited at all until last week when it hit me.
I went to starwars.com and watched all the little documentaries.
I really think Lucas will come through with this one. Granted, I really liked Episode II and Episode I doesn't really bug me, even though it's not great.
