What is the max RPM that the JRSC is rated for?
I have a 2000 ITR. I plan on moving redline to at least 9k depending what dyno says.

I highly doubt your gonna gain anything by raising your revlimiter with a roots type supercharger on your Type R. The only thing i see you gaining is a head or bottom end job. When you float a valve a 10psi boost at 9000RPMS and that piston introduces itself to few of its favorite valves, it wont be fun, but it'll sound cool!
If youll look at an average dyno plot with a JRSC, youll notice the torque quits climbing about 1500rpms before redline and goes down, whereas the HP just seems to even out, maybe you make 5 more hp
My car worked best shifting at 8000rpms in first, then 2nd-4th(1/8th mile drag racing), id shift around 7800. Running to redline did nothing but slow me down.
The last dyno I had showed whp still climbing at 8400. not sure about torque will try and find the hard copy of the dyno.

Well, good luck......if your toruqe has started falling or flattened out, a few extra HP isnt really gonna help. Other than the fact of you can say, "Yea, my redline is at 9000 now!"
I do need the extra RPMs a autocross here in town. I redline 3rd with about 15-20 feet of track left. I have to bump the rev-limit, which I don't like to do or shift again, which takes a tenth or 2 off my time. I know the engine can handle it. I just wanted to know if the JRSC was up for the job.

Holy SHIT! I need to come autocross with you guys!!! Some of our setups are 1st gear only's Still though, id say you have a "gate" or some sort of slow down turn(s) right before your timing lights to kinda get you under control. Seems like a good alternative would be just to pick the higher gear, 4th in your case, and just drive through the turns before the straight(this would also keep the car a little more stable on entry/exits).
Damn, redlining 3rd gear......sometimes i hate my SCCA dvision

The gate is after the timing lights. The course as 2 places I need that extra little bit. I will put it on the dyno after I get the new stuff put in and let you know.
I think I topped out second gear once when I was NA. ={
I have hit 140 on the road course here in memphis on one run. Normally is around 130

Oh i see now.....your talking more along the lines of HPDE's and SOLO1's. In that case, the TEG saw 160's all day long at VIR and 120's at "little Taladega". Most autocross's are governed by the handbook rule of "apprx. 60mph". Im sure that rule gets bent somewhat, just like ours did Sunday where i went around 65mph.
Fun either way! I take any racing i can do!

When tuned for fuel and ignition pretty much all VTEC Hondas make peak power past the stock redline. If your valve train and engine are up to it we typically raise the rev limiter about 1000 rpm.
On a prototype JRSC RSX at 4.5 lb boost, we made peak power at 9300 rpm (stock internals) - 1200 RPM higher than stock. On this engine the redline for maximum acceleration would need to be set at about 9800 rpm. This is not a practical daily rev limit on this engine though with out better valve springs.
The head is getting redone with all new springs, valves and retainers. It should be safe to around 10k.

The 140 was at a HSDE, but I do redline 3rd at the autocross when its at the same track. There are a hand full of cars that brake the 60mph rule, but not many. I like the faster tracks myself.

I have a hondata 3b ready to go on, just waiting on dyno time.
