I heard they're playing spiders next thursday with 108 dead - how come no one seems to know anything about it? I'm informed tickets are ?4.50 and anyone who wants one i can sort it out cause the guys from 108 dead live in louth (insert farmer jokes here) lol
Anyway, i think fliers are being made pretty much as we speak but spread the work because solid cant seem to promote their own gigs for shit and its the bands who lose out...
Hey have a word with Andy but its def on cos I spoke to em a few times ...go to support the guys but bare in mind its the spiders...say no more. Hmm oh and if ya c Danny can ya tell him to get Broome to sort out a practice , cheers

I feel its high time that we all got in touch with bands and told them that solid dont promote...and put them on to mr Tyrell,NAt,Slaz Mark,Myself or even Joe M.....cos least we can all get a turnout.

Solid are just about dead. Indie gigs are starting to get bigger crowds than Solid themselves. Justice has been done.
Fishcore are a brilliant gigs promoter.

As expected it wasnt packed but there were at least 30 or so people there - there was a whole mini bus from louth so i reckon that bumped up the numbers a bit lol [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
I spoke to the band about coming back with fishcore or one of the other diy promoters. I passed on the fishcore e-mail addy anyway so hopefully they'll pass it on to other bands who want to come here.
Did you explain that $olid were shit and have no idea about promoting gigs????
I sure did - i told them it was only promoted by the support bands and those shitty fliers i ran off in half an hour. I also said that they should've been in a venue closer to town so more people could get to it and $olid didnt have a clue...they seemed pretty gutted that they had to play so far out of town but seemed willing to come back.
I smell a Cartergate gig........
well if you want to pay for it Ant's because there is no way that the door money will cover the room hire, bands and PA as we find it hard enough covering it at west marsh and Cartergate i loads to hire out, as in hundreds I think.
