hey I'm home from my eye surgery! yikes! looking like a pirate with a clear eye patch. and let me tell you, youre not asleep when the do the work on your eye! youre asleep when they stick a million needles all around your face to numb you eye, but not for the procedure. very freaky. its like heading for "the light" when you wake up and they're getting ready to cut and poke on your eyeball!

so I'm home. everything is blurry.

did the wife have a stack of toys waiting for me for after the surgery? hell no. oh well.

it was freaky. the anethesia Dr (some lady that talks lie Apu) said we dont want you completly out when we do the surgery in case you sneeze or cough...it could cause the contents of your eye to spill out http://www.hostboard.com/forums/ and yes, that scared the fuck out of me!

the other doctors about shit when I told them what she said. they said not to listen to her.
they dont even stitch your eye. they cut it like the flapper on a toilet so the pressure inside keeps it closed......unless you rub it or bump it.

yeah eyeball stuff freaks me out. I've picked up brains, delivered babies, all pretty much eh...not that big of deals, but when it comes to eyeballs......ewwwwwwww

Yeah, that was weird-
When they did my first eye seems like they dosed me up better, don't remember it at all.
2nd eye I was kinda around for-freaky stuff, man!

I knew you'd make it out ok, Chase, at least it's over with! And yeah that spilling-eye-jelly-business wouldn't exactly ease my nerves just before the operation...
