Can someone post the track listing for the Stand EP (perhaps a member of the aforementioned Stand?), I don't know what any of the songs are called. It is a damn good cd though.

Copying a CD on a D.I.Y. label kinda destroys the whole D.I.Y. ethos, particullarly for a label as small as positive outlook. A label that has to put on fundraiser shows and rely on donations so it can get its tour van fixed.

my guessing is that you have copied the cd off some one like a bag head would do, and forgot the write the track listing down aswell....
my question to you is...
why didnt you just purchase the cd for a mere ?4 and get a free sticker, and also help out a band thats strapped for cash
its not as if were making 14 quid a record or summin stupid like that is it??

no i havent because i dont have a cd writer and or a mp3 downloader thing. i do woun a few copied cds yer, but only really big commercial bands that sell enough anyway.
I agree with the stand boys here...they are local guys and downloading would help promote them in towns etc where they havent played.....but saying that it also means more people at shows too...sell lunchboxes with unicorns on...I'd buy one.

I paid my money and went to the gig on friday, and it was ace, but no i didn't buy the cd. I'm not going to try and defend myself. But I am really fucking cheap and buying CDs makes me feel ill. I won't pretend that I would like it if I'd made a cd and people didn't buy it because they preferred to copy it for free. On the matter of
music purchasing I am completely disgraceful.
I will now supply soem excuses which are popular in defence of music piracy:
I wasn't going to buy the EP ever, but seeing as it was possible to copy it I did. So the band haven't lost out on money.
I know that bands need to sell cds to survive, but the reality is, even though plenty of people copy their material there are always going to be a large percentage of people who prefer to buy a genuine copy.
I'm not selling the CDs at a lower price am I? I just listen to the music.
Two of the tracks are available for download on the website, i have only pirated the remaining 4.
In support of the band, it is a very good CD and I would reccommend that those who like hardcore and buy CDs should definitely take their four quid and give it to Stand. "Track 1" and "Track 4" are my personal favourites, whatever they may be called.
