got the PE kit for my car. i had to modify it. i wanted to send it back. i got it in NJ ,but i live in LI,NY . the install was done at http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/frown.gifULTIMA http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/frown.gif they said it was the rez wanted to charge me 70 bucks to fix it (a by- pass) then gave me problems about doing the work. midas did the by-pass for 25 bucks-
back to GREDDY they wont let me sent to them in california ! they said bring it to rally in NJ. and they want the whole kit
i dont even have the stock b-pipe to go stock again

You are pissed at Greddy because they will not accept the return of a modified exhaust system? If that is the case what did you expect? If you are saying that they would not accept a return before the modification you should have tried harder/dealt with the shop you bought it from.

This is why I tell people not to buy Greddy Exhausts, their resonators suck, they rust out, break, leak, any of those 3, they just dont last, mine went out 2 years after I bought it, right when my warranty ran out, and I am one of many that this has happened to.

greddy has me pissed cause they wont even take the system back from me(shop only) ,greddy is greddy is greddy. if its theirs they should take a look at it! i asked them to look and said that all i ask is to be taken as an individual case as most warrenties are taken- they look see the rez is $hit and just send a b-pipe they want the whole kit and only from the shop i got it from. My problem is -
1 no proof of purchase
2 no b-pipe stock to use in the mean while
anyway GREDDY's rez- sucks
and the customer service too!
a guy there(at greddy) said see if ultima (a local shop) could write a fake reciept for you
BAD BUSINESS!
problem solved anyway midas took out the resinator for 25 bucks
ULTIMA was going to do it for 70 buck CRAZY!
2 spots -$70
they charged 80 for the install 4 spots-two 3" peices had to be added for the 2dr kit to be a 4 dr (Greddy doesnt make a 4dr PE http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/frown.gif )
ultima has done all the work on my car and still tryed to rip me off! sorry CROM for not trusting your judgement on greddy and sorry i had to find out too!

4dGSR at work: I guess you bought it from a speed shop (a GReddy dealer) in NJ instead of got it directly from GReddy, right?!
No offense, but there is one thing I don't understand, should you return it to where you buy it from?
It seems someone go to SEARS buys a Panasonic TV, and wants to return it back to Panasonic.

Did you ask a bit ago and I told you not to get one??? I think I remember a post like that a while ago, I dont trust greddy at all, their customer service absolutely sucks
and I believe they make very shaddy exhaust systems, and they are way overpriced.....

crom someone else asked about them and you said not too, i thought it was good and said i liked mine then it rusted out on me(like you know it would) and now i have a great deal of trust in your opinions!
I know i should return it back to where i bought it but that is 3 1/2 hours away from where i live.
so i tried to call greddy. there product sucks and i wanted to deal direct in my case due to the fact that it was modified i asked to be treated as an individual case, aka "take a look is all i asked"
the shop would have said "how do i know you bought it from here?"
i had no receipt-my fault!
in this case greddy was the only place i could go!
ultima tryed to rob me on the repair! too!

your a stupid azz for buying a exhuast that doesnt wasnt even made for your vehicle. second your a retard for not having a reciept, if i was greddy or any company i would not take back a product from you or anyone else w/o any proof of purchase.

How does the vtec sound now? No more Psssst sound, I have one that sounds like it may be leaking. I tightened all the bolts down and it still sounds this way... What should I do???

i said it was my bad but i just asked them to look if they said it was their fail it would make them take more time on their resinators.(the rez sucks)
redline 8k-if ya hear a buzz at like 2.5 to3.2 i might be in the b-pipe
if ya hear it at like 3.5 to 4 it is possible its the header(a-pipe)
how old is the car?
do you still have a proof of purchase?you might have just trusted-no pun!-the product!!!!

Well, I have been around here longer than about 95% of the guys on this board, I used to post quite often, but now there are moron ricers taking up the space here and contradicting everything the smarter guys say, so I just quit, because I am sick of dealing with stupid "kids" that are driving around daddy's cars, that think they know everything, because some moron at a local shop told them so. It is quite hard to get decent information on the net, this board used to be very helpful with many things, but again, the quality has gone south for the most part, when someone is rude or lashes out, 9-10 times they dont have a clue what they are talking about. If you need information fast, email is sometimes better, especially if you dont want some moron saying this and that is wrong and filling the board with extra crap.
