I'm so pissed I could cry...

My 18" Tower exclusive Hellboy w/ horns has fallen over at some point and broken his left arm at the balljoint! [img]graemlins/cry_smile.gif[/img]

I'm trying my damndest to fix him with plastic bonder and super glue, but I dunno if it's gonna work.

I thought you were going to say the horns broke off... that would have been weird.

same here...if you glue it you will probably lose articulation.....however if you drill a hole and insert a (forgot the name of it)...maybe nail or small wooden dowell (that's it) you should be fine....

Actually one did.. But they're made funky how they fit in the head.. I wish I woulda taken a picture

I think you misunderstood.. the balljoint where it meets his body broke.. I can't believe it's like a little plastic stick that connects the balljoint to the body.. it broke at the body.. So I popped the balljoint out of his arm, and am gluing it back onto his body.

Was this due to the hurricane?

what about switching the head with a regular 18" Hellboy?

can you take pics of the break?
Pairadocs could probably walk you thru a repair...

Ouch! Man, that's one of those that'a just a bitch to fix. Hope you can! I had to do that with a 'Quartz' figure that arrived broken.
(Ya couldn't tell it was broken until you opened
it , at which point the dealer wouldn't (naturally) take it back. He has big old ball joints and it was broken at the peg. I just had to cut the remainder of the peg off ang glue it in stiff. [img]graemlins/cry_smile.gif[/img]

I dunno about that.. That's an expensive fix firstly, and I dunno if the head can be taken off. It's just upsetting.

Well I mighta fixed him somewhat.. I used a dremel to drill a hole wide enough for the peg in his body, just a smidgin deep.. then glued the peg of his arm to the body.. Now just gotta be patient and let it completely dry and all.

Well he's not completely fixed... I am gonna wait a few hours before I move the arm any just to make sure the glue sticks..

And the hurricane hasn't hit our region yet, it won't till sometime tomorrow morning/into Monday

you MIGHT be able to replace the peg with a length of coat-hanger...
you'd have to drill new holes for it.
I've done similar things for other figs before.
sometimes it works, sometimes not...
