exposure shorts vol.3

does any one think its time for exposure shorts vol.3? does any one have anything they would like to submit?

realisticly i dont think you can expect to make 2 in the space of 6 months... if we leave it abit longer chances are we will get more films, i know id like to submit one [img]smile.gif[/img]

i'll submit the last short film i made.
it's only four minutes long

I don't know, in the last 6 months I've made 160 minutes worth of stuff. So ya, I've got a short I'd like to submit, 12 minutes. It is also the type of thing you could encode at a lower resolution to save space.

well if i give plenty of notice, we could get one out for just before or after xmas, that way people can finish things they are working on now

Definately should push to get a release just before xmas...

It would be great to see the movies made by the regulars who didn't manage to get theirs on the last 2 volumes!

since the discs are freely distributable you must own all copyright (or have permission from the copyright holder) on the submission, and as copyright holder agree that your work can be duplicated freely as part of the volume, but not separately without your explicit permission.

I think a Volume 3 is a great idea, Andy Winton would be proud!

Around the time we were putting the feelers out for Volume 2, he just disappeared... his websites have vanished too!!!

I think it is too early for Volume 3, I reckonit would be better to keep it an annual thing , thats my two cents anyway.

6 months is no time at all in short film making. Cash made a feature in that time! (When will we be able to see the finished feature?) We've done two and have another in pre-production. If people have stuff ready, I say put it out. It is the EXPOSURE shorts dvd after all.

I haven?t made a feature, am still trying to finish my short, I have written a feature script though.

Apologies. I thought the Jumper was a feature!

no worrys, how about we aim to get it out just after xmas, for the new year. That gives people plenty of time to finish films they are working on now. If i set a deadline for som time in dec. But whos intrested?

We've got our film from the 48hr film challenge ready to go whenever... should have another short polished off before the end of the month...

Websites, yep, sorry, v bad. My free account
that I had dried up, and since then web sites
have been in flux. When I get round to starting
slash finishing my next project web sites will
come back.

I think what the exposure shorts has shown is
that people can work together to produce
something. It is a small step, but a step in the
right direction.

If I was to put my dreaming hat on, I might see
a future where we all created a joint film which
could attempt to take on the big boys. But I take
my hat off and see the organisational skills
needed to pull this off...

Anyway, cool!
