here's why:
ok, so all celeb magician/illusionists
have this certain 'arrogance' about them.
copperfield had it... blaine has it....
in fact, the only one i CAN'T think of
having it was *cough*zigfreidandroy*cough*...
anyway...
i reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally despise david blaine.
i especially despise his 'levitation' trick.
why might you ask???
because you always see people FREAKING out
about it... as if that is some sort of
confirmation that this dude is really floating.
what gets me... is that ITS A FREAKIN ILLUSION, FOLKS!!!
why do these people NOT get it??

You're right...Daivd Blaine is very hateable.
I saw him in an interview on TV...All he did was stare at the presenter, and not even speak...silly man!
As for the "No editing" thing...yeah right! Lies, lies, lies.

He's about as tall as David Blaine...
but in reality he's about as tall as my penis is long...
so... about a half an inch.. so when it looks like he's levitating... he's standing on a trash can.. but it's mini-sized so we can't see it.. and the TV's make him look regular sized.. everything is mini for him....that's why he's so good!

Too bad you don't watch TV. South Park had a somewhat humerous parody of Blaine about a month ago, with the kids falling into a suicide cult based on the levitation trick. Basically David Blaine =as= Heaven's Gate.

I saw that! Highly amusing....satirical, with that slight, disturbing hint of truth....great stuff.
David Blaine is a maniac....not because I fall for the image he tries to portray of himself, but merely because he is a nutcase for wanting to be seen that way!
