Hi there,

I know you're trying to sell it but have you ever had any problems with your double bass pedal coming undone at times. I got a second hand one which fell to bits and now i bought a new one the bar between the 2 pedals keeps coming undone.

Damn gadgets!

No mate. It's happened once, and the problem is this:

You're not tightning the screws up enough (even though it might feel like it) with your drum key. If it feels tight, it's not tight enough.

Get some gloves of some sort (that still allow grip) and turn it as much as you fucking can, you will notice some slight movement, and that should do it.

This should work.

Anyway -- people buy my drum kit! PLEEASE!

problem is, the bit where it comes undone it is kept together with an alan screw and the alan key has worn so it doesnt tighten very well, well hopefully it is the key and not the screw.

just checking if yours was a similar design or not

you need new screws..

Does the bit you tighten go inwards where you put the key in, or outwards, cos I've never come across a drum equipment that uses an alan key.

What make kit is it? i might be interested in buying little bits but not the whole thing, ive just got loads of cymbals and stands so i dont need any of that.

mark...iron cobra sounds good enough to buy just for the name!!! but has it come undone at anytime, does it slip at all etc etc???

nah not at all.... seriously you get what you pay for... costs about ?150 quid, but well worth the money.. comes with guarantee, spare bits and bobs..
every thing on it is replaceable, and you can get the pieces from any tama dealer...

if your at the show on saturday (stand/hhh/green acre) ill be more than happy for you to have a gander at my pedal, and have a go of it if ya want, just come up to me and slap me or something so i know its you.

yeah i got a good deal with mine.. i part x'd an old tama pedal, old standard pearl snare
and for ?120 extra i got a fuckin amazing 10" pearl maple snare zildjian 19" crash and a free ufip splash bargain

Sabian's are dead nice sounding cymbals but they're dead easy to crack! I've had mine for just over a year and the center has cracked on one and the side is going on the other!!!! GGGAAAAAYYYYY!!!
