Just downloading on dial-up. I may have a response by next Tuesday, hehe.
-
Oh wow man! Awesome new tracks! Reminds me so much of Bang Tango. Love it!
Can't wait to see you guys next week now.
-
Thanks! Bang Tango? now that's a first!... any more takers/reviewers??
A magazine once likened us to Britny Fox..
-
Mmm, I can see what they mean with the raspy vocals a bit like Dizzy Dean, but I think there's a touch of Joe Leste there as well.
-
I need to check out more Bang Tango!
In the meantime, more glamsters need to be givin' feedback. How do i entice thee??
btw, see you Tuesday Stacey, come and say hello!
-
Yup, will do.
-
Cheers for comin Stacey! didnt get to chat much, but hope you enjoyed the on stage antics. Damn that was fun!
I thought Nothin To Lose were great, i reckon we should play another gig together sometime in the future! In the meantime, see you Friday for more action.
Wa-fuckin-hey!
-
Yeah, nice one! Recognised a couple of your guys from Decadence. Good to see a decent turnout in the end, too.
As you said before, looks like things in London are on the up. Enjoyed both bands a lot. Five bands on Friday night should provide a good night's entertainment too.
-
Wow,sounds good. Can't give any comment, as don't have access to a computer with speakers, blah.
Hey, who are the 5 bands playing 2morow?Need to know quick. And what time is DDCL on?As gotta get up 5 am to go to work on Saturday morning,hu-uh.
-
DDCL are not playing now, as they've lost their bass player. Skintight Jaguars are taking their place. Don't know who the other bands are, apart from Metalworks, who are the resident headliners. First band onstage at 8.30pm.
-
Good morning. Thanks for info. Very unlike me to cancel at the last minute, but I didn't get to sleep last night,so cannot stay awake. No way I can go anywhere (apart from sleep)tonight, especially keeping in mind gotta get up again for work 2moro at 5am. Sorry, will see you next time!Def will check out the Jaguars, keep us posted about the forthcoming gigs.
Oh,what surprises me, nobody has mentioned about going to see BackYard Babies. Social Distortion on Sat? I won't be able to, fukkin work :-(
But how about Decadenz (St.Moritz)on Saturday 20-August? I will be off that weekend :-)
-
Didn't know about the Backyard Babies gig, but I can't make that now. Probably won't be at Decadence on 20th, because I'm lending my support to this one;
Rip n Tear: London's sleaziest glam rock club on Friday 19th August. From 8pm at Cosmobar, 50-54 Clerkenwell Road, London EC1M 5PS. Tube: Barbican or Faringdon. DJ's Belle & Angel
-
Never fear, Backyard Babies are playing Islington Academy on 1st September! and then we've got Dogs D'amour on 21st Oct at same venue..there are some great gigs coming up!
Shame ya cant make it tonite Sherri.. dont worry though..plenty more coming up!
-
Stacey, I forgot abou Rip'n'Tear.Maybe do that one instead. What time does it close? As unfortunately I only have Sunday off that weekend, and on Saturday I start work at 10am...This shift work can be a real bitch!!

I think Rip n Tear is 8 till 2, but you don't have to stay all night!
-
I don't have to stay all night? Errmh, yes, that would be ok if I was going to a gig, but clubbing is an entirely different matter...From the past experience I can say that I find it rather difficult to leave a rockclub before the end
,as often there is vast amounts of alcohol to be consumed, and good music non-stop..Ehem
-
I don't know what you mean, hehe.
-
Just checked with Belle, and Rip'n'Tear is actually open til 3am...
-
How was the gig?
Oh yeah, and they also have a dress code at Rip'n'Tear, so you gotta dress up peeps :-)
-
DRESS CODE???? WTF????
Hope that just means no suits or ties, like the Fox, and hopefully no 'trendy' gear, like sometimes turns up in St Moritz.
The Marquee was a fun night, except they've put their prices up AGAIN!!! It now costs ?3.50 for a pint of Fosters, or ?3 for a half-pint bottle of Carlsberg, take your pick! Enjoyed both Skintight Jaguars and Metalworks though.
