So, I come here every day, look at stuff, think "hmm, I should say something" but when it comes down to it, there's nothing there.
People come back, say hello, and I sit there dribbling on my keyboard. I saw Elyria lurking, and couldn't even bring myself to post something to get his attention.
*starts squishing on one of those stress ball things*
And now, I don't even know if I'll be able to hit "add new topic". It seems so far away, like it's at the end of a tunnel... Everything's going dark... Sleepy... so sleepy...

Finishes all personal grooming.

Well, I can tell you that fighting Poster's Block isn't easy. I've had to limit myself to coming by every few days instead of every day. Then there's the whole debate in one's head (handy example provided below.
Post! voice: "Yeah, if you post that comment, it'll be really funny. Everyone will looooove you!"
Don't Post! voice: "If you post that idiotic comment, then even more people will become lurkers (it's all your fault, you know, I mean how many people do you think can stand you after over 15,000 posts?), then there will be even less threads, then one day when you're rich and famous, some news reporter will pull out this comment and you'll be an embarrasement and no one will like you and you can forget another bestseller."
*end example*
So, yes, fighting Poster's BLock isn't easy, but I'm living proof it can be overcome!

To post: perchance recieve reply? Aye! There's the rub! For in that wave of response what hate-mail may come?? When I have posted my email address for all to see, must needs give us pause.
That makes calamity of too long a post! For who would bear the scorns of dissenters, the proud Jax's contumely, the pangs of being ignored by Gollum, the modem's delay, the insolence of Firebird, and spurns that patient merit of the fine Eris takes, when she herself might her own quietus make with a simple "delete"?
For who would TV bear? To grunt and sweat under the pressure of a game of literarti? if not that fear of rude response to posting! That undiscovered lurker who reads and one day presses a "return," and writes a scathing critique of all our posts- and makes us rather fly to people that we can talk to face to face than LOL for those we know not of! Thus the internet does make cowards of us all, and hands about to type words of great pithe and merit, with this regard fold neatly in a lap, and lose the name of "STPr!"

The Poster's Block symptoms sound WAYY too familiar, actually.
If you think P's B is something, how 'bout Posting In Too Many Places Regularly (PITMPR). This ailment has multiple causes:
*A rotating forum on Classic Rock(this month; 9/10-10/9) on the Sequential Tart forum
*The Yahoo Cerebus List has been exceptionally busy in recent months
*Other mbs/ngs fall behind as well
*There's often a controversy to discuss at the comic strips ng
*Occasionally have to defend one's self when someone on a board or ng wrongly thinks one has some "agenda" (a problem when one has an independent ideology)
*Have to catch up on every board one posts on
*One can fall behind in more than one place and STILL spend WAYY too many hours online
*Seen a M*A*S*H episode, then remembers that, besides being one of the most respectful places on Usenet, that show's ng allows you to post with Larry Gelbart (I recommend it to any respectful M*A*S*H fan)
*Similarly, reading posts by noted animation experts, knowlegable animation buffs, and a couple of Cartoon Network insiders (from "The Popeye Show" and "Toonheads") is too good to pass up on the Termite Terrace Trading Post.
PITMPR can make it seem...
