Oh God Janie! The temperature has been pure madness! But I am grateful that the past 3 days have been dramatically warmer, and in fact today we are getting to a high of +6 Celcius which is about 40 degrees warmer than the day I took those pics (It was -47 celcius that day)
That's sub tropical compared to those earlier temps!! [img]wink.gif[/img] I hope you aren't going to get flooded when that lot melts [img]eek.gif[/img]

February has been a very very snowy month here *groans and longs for far more tropical places*
Have a look at the snow that got dumped on us over a 2 day period. The first pic is the front of my house, the second is my kids lying in a pile of snow just outside of my house, and the third pic is of the outdoor table on my back patio.

Laurie, that is SOO pretty! I wish we could have the snow here (without the cold! LOL) Ive only seen the snow once.. I cant imagine living somewhere where it snow - that would be so odd to me! [img]rolleyes.gif[/img]
I could have done with some of the cooler weather the other day though. I was at work, and it was 39 degree celcius out, not to mention that I work in a kitchen, so the ovens, friers, the gas cook-tops on... think of all that heat confined in a small space with the door closed. Absolute hell. Im glad I didnt have to spend my entire shift in there, only go in there to get the meals & take them out to people!!
