Why does the ls get the m45 blower?
Donno but TOO has an article with the steps necessary to adapt the kit for the R to an LS head.
Run it at 9psi... then it goes like a SC GSR... http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif

Chuck I meant to ask you,
Do you have a boost gauge, and what are you doing for exhaust ? After a conversationI had with Jim (JRCivic) the other day, I have reason to believe that even with the 4.0" pulley and Endyn stepper that I wont hit 9 much less 10psi (has to do with the size of the LS stock harmonic balancer being smaller than GSR).

10 psi coming soon
So if I up the boost to 9 psi I would expect high 13's to low 14's in the quarter?
I think it has the smaller blower, because at higher RPM's, the LS motor won't consume enough air, and the boost is not linear.
When I talked to Larry several weeks ago he said he can't believe JR made the smaller blower for any of the B series motors. He actually sounded mad http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif It was great to talk to him. Very knowledgeable and passionate about his work.

Larry also uses the M62 on his old ZC engine - probably due to the lower rotational speed of the blower generating less heat at the same boost compared to the m45 ?

I asked JR why they used the M45 on the B20Z/B in the CRV and they said that it was because it made more output at low rpms than the M62, like for towing... and since the CRV and the LS have the same cylinder head, I bet they just wanted to use the same kit for both instead of making a new one.

More torque? How many people are actually using their LS Integras for towing? I always thought that more boost made more torque.
LS Avenger:
I have a B18B w/ stock internals, stock injectors, DC 4-2-1 and DC Catback... When at 6psi, I was seeing 6psi on my boost gauge. At 9psi, I see 9psi at full boost.
LS integ: I think the car will get into the mid 14's.. I'm going to the track so I'll keep yall posted. I'm not a drag racer (more of a off-ramp kamakaze, wanna be road racer) , so I'll try my best and we'll see what 80,000 miles and a stock clutch can do!! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif
Joe/UK: When you look at Eaton's Delta T charts, you can see that the blower pretty much reaches peak (heat vs. hp) right where I'm running it... C
P.S. I've ranted about this before, but the B18B is GREAT on the highway... 60-100 is it's best strength (first gear sucks anyway, too low) although I've managed to hit ~135 flat out (and no not down a hill with a tailwind!! http://www.hostboard.com/ubb/smile.gif
