another kind of trail riding for tg

so this past weekend i wanted to go horseback riding.

it was tg's first time [img]smile.gif[/img]

we went up to the same place we camped at
a few months earlier (lake catherine) and
managed to schedule some horseback riding.

it was great fun... rode for an hour or so.

tg's horse was named 'midnight' and mine
was named 'gator'... =P

anyways... since he was behind me on the
trail, tg will prolly say something about
how he got to experience a horse crapping
just a few feet away from him... to which
i'd respond about how his horse grunted
when it took a leak....

tee hee...

anyways... i didn't bring my camera along
on the trail... but did manage to get some
pics prior to the ride.

i hope i get to go again as i really dig
it... and maybe find a way to do some
free-range riding.
next time i'll definitely take the camera
along the trail.

Wow sounds like you had tons of fun... I need to get the wife and kid up someday and go do that. (EVEN THOUGH I HATE BEING ON A HORSE)

well... at that time, that particular horse was
being retired for the day (from trailing)....
and apparently they don't feed the horses until
after their day's work...

so when the lady hitched the horse up to the
trough... it started kicking the shit outta the
trough... just banging it, waiting for some
imaginary food to fall in.

i guess tg was a bit afraid... no tellin if
that horse would nip 'em. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

and your damned horse was all up on my horse's ass!!!

and you wouldn't ever keep him back ... even
AFTER the lady told you a thousand times [img]mad.gif[/img]

Oh wait, i think i once rode one of those kiddie pony rides, when i was really small.
Wonder if horseback riding is any fun.

Ouch.. considering the height the horse was keeping it's head on, the nip might be painfull.

Midnight was a great horse. He did everything I asked to and more! Sure he may have grunted a lil bit when he was pissing, but how many in here can honestly say that after a long hard day of work you arent just ready to relax and let out some audible frustrations when you are taking a whiz? If anyone in here can make that claim, let ye cast the first stone!

Well it is nice to see there is some sort of selection process. Don't wanna see the no make up hair in curlers, mud pack on the face, cucumbers on the eyes sort of pix. At least with TG pix he is a male so he pretty much always looks the same.

I love trail riding..i started that after i retired from horse shows..its so much fun..we sometimes take the horses now and go camp for a few days..up in the mountains..fresh air..cooking on a campfire..riding all day..or just hanging round camp and taking a short ride here or there..ahhhhh..i wanna go riding now.. [img]frown.gif[/img]

anyone wanna come with?????..i have three horses!!!
