How come we've set our clocks one hour ahead here in Europe this Sunday and Americans get to do it next Sunday?
I've just had a conversation with Marci where my every other sentence was 'ARE YOU SURE???'
I don't get it. What's the deal here?
What about Australia?

We had to put our clocks back an hour last Sunday...end of daylight saving for another year. We are however experiencing some warm, beautiful balmy autumn days (bordering on HOT and humid)
Our clocks move forward one hour at the end of October each year. Not every state here in Australia has daylight saving though!

certainly is! I know Queensland doesn't have daylight saving because I always get to see ER 1/2 hour before Pnut, lol! Sadly though now we are finished she sees it 1/2 hour before me.
Stops imparting useless information on you now

The only thing I know about daylight saving here in the UK is that it started in World War II when they tried to maximise daylight hours in the summer in order to get the harvest in! Apparently they've never bothered to change it back

Janie, I didn't know that. In fact, I know nothing about this, I don't get it and I never will.

to add to the confustion i'm pretty sure not everywhere in canada has daylight savings either...
-
*sight* if i miraculously remember which night this happens i never manage to remember if we gain or lose one hour...
-
How I remember is this: Spring forward, Fall back

Someone told me we had to change the clocks back and forward for the farmers. I dont think that person liked farmers though (no offence to any out there). It is all to do with the time zones and things i think

*dont ask the confused one*
