Did you hear about what is happening in Washington? They have changed the name of French fries to freedom fries. I really like what the french ambasator said. There are more important things to worry about than what we call our potatoes.

There's something deeply profound in the French word being "converted" to freedom. By the way, this was done by our own congresspeople in the nation's capital in the their own cafeteria.

Now as a form of protest, wouldn't it have made more sense for these congressman to just boycott the foods that have the word french in it? Of course not, because they have the right to consume whatever they want, even it it's made my our enemies!
