I awake this morning to find this in my e-mail inbox:

Dear wpcajun316,

i just out bid you on a spawn lot it cotained figures like creech and mandarin spawn. well you should be the winner of that auction my max bid was only 40 but for some reason it says my max bid was higher. i have contacted ebay about this but i was wondering if you wanted it the final price was 46. i wanted to ask you if you wanted it so i didn't go to the seller saying i can't pay without somebody else willing to take it. please respond asap thanks joe fleischmann ps-sorry for the bad grammar

What happened is I tried to snipe this auction and drove the price up higher than this idiot wanted to pay, lol. I'll contact the seller and see how much he wants, but I'm not paying my high bid on it because this idiot can't/won't pay what he bid.

I didn't think I'd have a chance of winning it, but I damn sure wasn't letting this guy get it for $15, lol.

Now he wants to piss and moan because he has to pay too much for it. Should have thought of that when he made his max bid, lol.

Normally the 2nd chance "winner" pays his highest bid. But sellers are humans and can be talked into a different deal. You never know...good luck though.

Just to update on this situation. The seller contacted me and agreed to sell me the lot of figures for $35, which is 10 below my max bid before the winner backed out.

Main figures in the lot I want are original Creech and Blue Mandy.
