Hi girls! Gosh have I missed you all! I wish I could have come on earlier, while I was in the UK, and tell you a bit more about the going on's of myself and my 3 friends who I met in London, but the laptop we had with us was not cooperating... or should I say, AOL wasn't and so we were left without until we could locate a internet cafe we could get to.
What can I say about the UK? I have no idea where to even begin! LOL Let me first get this out of my system so I can attempt to be rational afterwards (LOL I know! ME? Rational? Right!)
I MET DARREN!!!!!!!!! After I got over my initial shock.. that whole "this can not be happening, he can not be really standing in front of me in the flesh" feeling, I managed to maintain my composure and wrap my arm around his waist *sigh*, and what a tiny waist it is, and in return feel him squeeze my side as we chatted. He smells GLORIOUS! Not Dolce and Gabanna though. I am 99.9% sure he is wearing Hugo Boss.
He was very very sweet, quiet, smaller than I imagined (in all ways - his height, his body structure), his voice is melodic, his smile is captivating. The stubble on his cheeks is so soft, his skin is flawless. Those blue eyes are more sharp than I would have thought, and his laugh is just heart-warming.
When I told him where I had come from, his eyes grew wide, his pupils dilated and from beneath a big smile was "Reeeeeaaaally?"
I neglected to ask for an autograph, but for me, that was not important. I know for others it is/was, but the sensation of his hand on my waist and his candy smelling breath on my cheeks will last me far longer than black ink on paper. *sigh* *big lovely smile*
What more can I say? *waves to Sue* HI SUE!! I was so happy to meet up with you at Portsmouth. I was keeping an eye out for you and was so happy when I saw you. You are a lovely lovely woman and your daughter is an absolute doll
My feet ache... we arrived at both Bristol and Portsmouth 10.5 hours before showtime in order to secure a place in front and guess what? Both times we were front centre! It was well worth it! He was so close I stretched my hand out and touched his knee during I Miss You. He sat on the stage directly in front of me and that lovely knee was a mere 2 feet or so from my hand and... oh I had to reach out and touch it! How could I not! LOL
The shows were BRILLIANT! Absolutely BRILLIANT! I don't want to give too much away because there are people still heading off to shows, but let me say this... I Bet He Was Cool, is now COOL!
*still floating on cloud 9*

Hi Lain!!! Oh I've missed all of you!! Although I have to admit I would love to be in London right now. You know, I tried very hard to not be star-struck, to see him for who he is and not what he is and so when I say those things about him, they come from that approach. In Bristol, he had the flu , yeah *sigh* he was sick again, but he smiled, he laughed he came out of the bus and talked to people then went into Colston Hall and came back out once more about 15 minutes later to talk to people again. What a sweety. When showtime came, though, he was in high high spirits and just soaked up the positive energy from the audience and used that as his tool. He was incredible. And he can SHAKE THAT THANG!! lol Unbelieveable! He can dance!
Lee was so happy. He smiled and grinned and I could see just how pleased he was that the audience was so receptive. Speaking of Lee... in Portsmouth, he was out and about walking and Michelle and I had headed out to grab a quick bite and we were saying to each other "What do we do if we see him?" Then we decided that it wasn't right to stop him in a public street and ask for an autograph or even perhaps draw attention to him because this was his free time and he deserved to go unnoticed. Well, as we were having this conversation, Michelle looks to her left and who is standing next to us? LOL Lee! We didn't say a peep, just smiled at him and carried on. Then during the Portsmouth show, I got a peace sign and a big smile from Lee and the both of us suspect it was because he over heard us and was in a way thanking us for repsecting his privacy earlier in the day. It was wonderful

Laurie I was standing so close to him that I was actually touching him when he sat on the edge of that stage. LOL he held my hand and I could not resist stroking his arm and his thigh!! *sighs @ the memory of it!* His eyes are just incredible when he makes eye contact - the most beautiful shade of blue and so sparkly!!

Oh my Gosh Barb! I signed on and saw this thread and for a moment thought something was askew with Hostboards.
Thank you for wanting to read my story again
*waves at Jen* Missed you hun!
It is so strange, because that day feels like only moments ago, in my memory. I can remember every single detail about it like it just happened seconds ago - except of course what he said that made me laugh Can you believe that I still can't remember that! lol
What an impact he made on me.
