Isn't it funny how you take so many things for granted? Like a cool breeze in the summertime... Picking up a kitten with your hands... and not even realizing how grateful you should be that you can see, feel, smell, touch, and hear the world around you?
I've given this alot of thought lately, and I'm so appreciative for the things that I DO have.
I'm able to use both legs to take a relaxing walk while the sun sets...
I'm able to glance into my lovers eyes as he makes love to me...
I'm able to smell dinner cooking and appreciate true hunger...
I'm able to touch the hands and faces of my children...

There are many who don't have half of what I have, and then again, there are those who have more than I...
But that's alright. I'm content to sit back and take note of all the little things I have in my life and never give a second thought to ... perhaps until they're gone.
That'll be a few of the things I have to say "thank you" to God for... not just at Thanksgiving... but right now.
I'm blessed with people who care about me...
A family who loves me unconditionally...
A hot meal 3 times a day...
and a warm bed to lay my head at night...
Life is grand, is it not?
