When I check on the board during the day, there's normally me and a couple of guests. But they never seem to post anything. I wonder who they are. Are they old posters who are too embarrassed to post again becuase then they feel they'd have to start a new "Hello again" thread (btw, you don't - they're always pretty dull and die out after about twelve replies. Unless you actually want to tell us what you've been doing, in which case they die out after thirteen)?

Are they just passing lurkers who are clicking on stuff at random? I guess we'll never know. Funny thing about lurkers - they're just shadows on the wall.

So, if you're a guest and you can be arsed to log in for just one reply, please do.

Well, there's three "guests" just now.

I call them "guests". I think they're scientists, studying us, seeing how we interact, and watching our reactions whenever they bring a "newbie" into the social group.

I shamed one of them into leaving! Now there's only two of the buggers.

It's difficult to tell if we scared him off or if he's just posting at the 'new' pace (one per month).
