A Call for Help - AT-AT (update: got one!)

OK, I really, really, really am asking a favor if anyone can lend a helping hand.

Last week the Wife pretty much decided that for Christmas she would get me this:

The Star Wars Endor AT-AT. When we were out Wednesday, we didn't see it anywhere in 2 TRUs. Looking online, it isn't available for order online (Temporarily out of stock).

I know this is $90, and if anyone is able to help I can paypal the money immediately (also making sure the fees are more than covered), or if not I'll get a Post Office Money Order out priority to pay. And just to make sure people know, I am MUCH better when I owe money than I am getting boxes out!

Appreciate anyone that gives a thought to helping.

There is one more TRU in the next town that we decided last night to hit tomorrow morning.

I am going to PM my cell phone number to you guys so if you come across it see if you can give me a call. If I find it in the morning, I'll post here, but I am not holding my breath it is going to be there.

DAMN!!! When I was in Windsor ON a couple weeks ago I saw over a dozen of them. They were a little too big and awkward to take on the plane ride back, so I left without getting one. Could have shipped one from there though.

Yeah, KK - I have been passing this up for weeks as well, and then when we decide to get it for sure (as it is a high ticket item), and it is no where to be found.

I need to remember to just get the shit I want when I see it and deal with it later

I had a co worker who lives in the next town over stop in their TRU for me, and he snagged one last night.

They had 2, and when he walked up someone reached around him and snagged one, he did the other for me.

These were supposed to be around for Christmas, but they sold through quick!

Hopefully you, Andymana nd Nomalas will read this soon (now that the board is back up) to know I am now set

I really appreciate you all looking out for me ont his one!

Now I'm remembering scoreing the electronic one about 10 years ago at Tru for $10.

We bought 3 of them, and sold them on evil bay a few years later for $100+ a pop.

Not a major issue at all. It actually gave me incentive to go on an old fashioned toy hunt.

It would be, but I definately am not going to hold my breath. Since there aren't gong to be any new licenses, I really think we are going to start seeing more of the "let's rehash a little and get what we can, while we can" of stuff.

Like the slightly remolded Tie Fighter, the one with the larger wings, the slightly modded X-Wing Degobah and the At-At from Endor, the Snow Speeder they just released, etc.
