why haven't i gotten a refund, why am i just now getting my W2....i have no fuckin clue about this shit
i am not looking forward to leaving college and into the real world where i have to do this shit on my own

by law, they don't have to have the w2's mailed out until the end of Jan. Totally sucks for students because some uni's require you to estimate and fill out tax info before feb in order to get the most aid.

I just got my state refund today, which hopefully means my federal isn't far behind.
i was suprized we got back $80 from state.
I got an even C-note.Which just means I can keep up on my bills this month. [img]frown.gif[/img]

I'm still waiting on my student loan statement so I can deduct the interest I paid last year. Then it's e-filing.
With my estimated student loan interest we're looking at getting:
Federal $717
Ohio $375
Louisiana $800
Didn't realize that since I'm a La. resident, $30k of my income is non-taxed since I'm serving in the military out of state. I have to check and see if this applied last year too. If so, they'll owe me about another $500 for 2003.
