i think i choked. tee hee... i didn't expect anyone
to reply to it... especially since some don't
care about the 'weird' posts i make.
but 5-10 repetitive posts still makes me happy...

... or, of course, purchasing the book.
its one of the most interesting reads i've read
in a long time. granted, i read it about 2 years
ago, but the language (translation) is so easily
read and understood... that i'm surprised its
not on an 8th grade reading list. ok... maybe
8th grade is pushing it a bit. but still....
good thoughts from this book.
naturally i don't feel that some things aristotle
said applies to any certain flux in contemporary
society... but in reading his insights on (his
interpretation of) friendships and blah blah blah...
and how he segregates 'friends' based on 3 characteristics....
its rather scary how contemporary society is similar.
FYI -- the discussion of 'friendship' begins in book 8

D'Oh.. Now i'm actually wondering if those who lived in that time considered aristotle a dork. Or something of equivalent type.
