i being from new zealand and having seen it when it first came out can tell you this is a top notch movie one of the most involving ive ever watched it truely brings emotions to the fore

Books get all these awards you've never heard of.
it seems like EVERY book out there today has been nominated for this, or that, or some award winning.
It seems like almost every movie out there has one some award somewhere, or done something cool, even though the movie is SHIT.

and about the movie...
i don't give a fuck about the plot or what awards
it has won or anything like that...
the reason i wish to see it is because the director
is famed for bringing real-to-life culture
to the screen (from what i've heard). it
happens to be interesting to me to see this
century old culture still surviving today...
its not that i don't think this culture has
been effected by other civilization... but
i'm just fascinated in seeing the damn film.

2fast2furious is goign to be awesome....paul walker is just so dreamy. i'm going the first night it comes out, in fact, i already have advanced tickets....it's going to be sweet!!!!!!!
i think the reason i got into it so much is its directly related to me as a new zealander i might not be maori but if you ever come to New Zealand you will see you dont have to be a maori for their culture to effect you but i thought it was a very deep movie
