Most recent drooling over menu at One Italy.
Shaslick Marinara-choice cut of eye fillet with scallops, wrapped in bacon on roasted new potatoes tossed in tomato pesto with a grilled vegetable stick.
Obsessed about this for 2 weeks before finally having time to go to restaurant and it was fantastic. [img]graemlins/dish.gif[/img]
Oh and bye I'm off to find some sunshine on the Gold Coast for 10 days. Much looking forward to it as was 6 degrees C here this morning.

Yes 3p! We were just up the Via Appia a ways, in the Due Santi area, my school has a campus there. they send about 100 students there every semester.
there are some amazing restaraunts in Albano. and great views of the land down to the sea too.

Sorry we didn't meet, but probably in the period you were here I was 500 km away to Sarabiga's.
oh yeah. We sampled a Lot of wine. The best ones we had at a wine bar in Anzio while eating really great food. The wine we had in the campus cafeteria was really good too. I never knew there were places where really good wine could be had for the equivalent of $1.50 a bottle. Over here something like that would be $15 or $20.
I was there during last fall, from the end of August until Christmas. Or rather, my luggage was there during those times. About two months of that I was traveling around different places, a lot of it with school, some on my own.

Yeah Yeah I know its not right unless your in the country, it was cooked traditionally by someone from that country, or your mother makes it. I'm still waiting for someone to open a traditional Malaysian Satay house here in Auckland. Mmmm (we should have a drooling smiley)
Then again I've just come back from Surfer's and I have so decided to appreciate the foodcourts in the malls over here as its cheaper and actually has taste.
Can't wait 'til I get over there for some real Italian food. [img]biggrin.gif[/img]
